What is your favorite quote and why? Please include the page number if you can so we can look it up and sigh over it, too.

"Breakfast time," he said eventually, casually --- to prove, I'm sure, that he remembered all my human frailties.

So I clutched my throat with both hands and stared at him with wide eyes. Shock crossed his face.

"Kidding!" I snickered. "And you said I couldn't act!"

He frowned in disgust. "That wasn't funny."

"It was very funny, and you know it." But I examined his gold eyes carefully, to make sure that I was forgiven. Apparently, I was.

~I laughed VERY loudly when I read that part for the first time. I got quite a few strange looks from my friends. I like it because its so funny and was put in a perfect place in the story.

""Your human instincts...," I began. He waited.

"Well, do you find me attractive , in that way, at all?"

He laughed and lightly rumpled my nearly dry hair.

"I may not be a human, but I am a man," he assured me." - pg311

AHHH I love Edawrd! He's just so cute! This part of the book made me laugh and sigh and made me wish I was Bella... ahhh, if only.

"You're not even close,"

This one of my favorites, although not one of the most quoted:

"I miss you," I whispered.
"I know Bella. Believe me, I know. It's like you've taken half my self away with you."
"Come and get it, then," I challenged.
-Pg. 418

I don't know why that exchange stuck with me, but it was probably because of the assertive way Bella answered. Kind of like the famous Star Wars "I love you" "I know" lines. (Wait-weren't those lines in Twilight too?)

"I feel like I'm five years old," I laughed after a few minutes of effortless waltzing.
"You don't look five," he murmurred, pulling me closer for a second, so that my feet were briefly a foot from the ground."

Hmm...sometimes i wished I was Bella. I can't dance either. xD

I totally relate to the way Bella feels about the prom. Plus this whole exchange just cracks me up:

"So I was hoping that you might have changed your mind...that you were going to change me afterall."

"You thought that would be a black tie occasion, did you?"

"I don't know how these things work."

"Do you want me to bolt the doors so you can massacre the unsuspecting townsfolk?" I whispered conspiratorially.

"And where do you fit into that scheme?" He glared.

"Oh, Im with the vampires, of course."

He smiled relectantly. "Anything to get out of dancing."

Haha. I dont know why but I love that bit so much.
