Questions on Werwolf Mating...AKA do you know the muffinman?

Post by pelirroja » Mon Dec 25, 2006 11:13 pm

Well in chat we(Dolly, Balancing Confessions, and me) decided that werewolves needed their own metaphor. We give you muffins:

Jacob Black...how do you like them muffins?

Jacob Black...not your grandma's muffinman.

Waking up next to cold cookies or warm muffins...not a hard choice.

Anyway, now that I posted some of our...er...slogans. That leads us to the questions on werewolf mating.

So how does this work if at all? I mean we know excitement leads to change, does this put a damper on all things physical?

Does Emily permanently tell Sam, "Not now dear I have a headache."

Plus do they shed? It's hard enough sweeping up the dog fur, do hairballs fly everytime they phase?

Well, obviously they can mate -- since Jacob had maternal and paternal werewolf ancestors. Off to think about the rest....

Oh -- I still can't get into the new chat!!!! :(

Is it excitement or anger that causes the phase into the wolf? If it's anger, just avoid any sudden revelations of pomiscuity, and I think things would be fine. Or, possibly, slip tranquilizers into their tea.

As for muffins, I leave you with a cribbed Buffy quote that applies very well to Jacob (IMO):

"He's a muffin."
"Mmm. Blueberry. With the crunchy-munchy stuff on top."

Or vampires specifically? Which would mean sex isn't a problem, unless a werewolf were to fall in love with a vampire.

Tee hee. Buffy is everywhere 8) .

'Course, the rest of the scene goes:
Buffy: But my most favorite thing so far is that he doesn't seem to be any kind of hell beast.
Faith: All men are beasts, Buffy.
Buffy: Okay, I was hoping to not get that cynical 'till I was at least forty.
Faith: It's not cynical. I mean, it's realistic. Every guy, from Manimal to Mr. I-love-The-English-Patient has beast in him. And I don't care how sensitive they act. They're all still just in for the chase. (BtVS (3_04): "Beauty and the Beasts") - how scary is it that I know that without having to look it up?)

Which also partially applies  .

THis is a very interesting topic. The furball thing shouldn't occur indoors because one would hope that only transform outside the home. If they are changing inside the home it could get messy, as in shredded clothes and broken furniture.

The mating is even more entertaining. AS siily_bella pointed out they can obviously mate because Jacob comes from a family of werewolves. However I guess the question would be were the men effected by vampires at the time or was it just in their blood??

Maybe they can "mate" once they are better in control of their strength and can remain in control of when they will transform. So Jacob is fairly in control for being a new werewolf and has a pretty decent shot of mating without hurting anyone. Paul on the other maybe single for the rest of his life.

I love the lex. Truly, I do.
Excuse that little burst of feeling.

Anyway, perhaps as Be My Escape said, they can mate when they have better control of themselves. And, is it really so much excitement that causes them to phase? Anger, yes. But, I'm not quite sure if this type of excitement would. Maybe they just need to be extra careful or something.

P.S. love the slogans.

I love you; marry me?

Seriously, though, that was impressive! Even I can't pull Buffy quotes out like that. It was fantastic!

And yes, that does apply to the Twilightiverse. Poor Bella, just looking for a nice guy who wouldn't hurt her again... instead, she gets yet another hellbeast.

Ok so I went to look up some wolf mating rituals just to get an idea of what it would entail. Here's what I found

When the two are about to mate(alpha male and alpha female), they bond, sleeping close and touching each other more and more. They will approach each other making quiet whining sounds, mouth each others muzzles, touch noses, and bump there bodies together. There may be mutual grooming and nibbling of each other's coats and the two may walk pressed close together. The Male may bow to the female, toss and tilt his head, and lay his legs over her neck in what could only be described as a flirting manner. The two may even sleep side by side.

Hmm...do with it what you will but I think Jacob definately put some of those moves on Bella.

Haha. I love those slogans. Here's another one:
Jacob muffins...get 'em while they're hot!

As for the mating, I think that if the werewolf were experienced enough to control the phasing, any normal human bedroom activity would be possible  They have to mate in human form since it seems that werewolf-ism only occurs in males, right? I doubt that the women would want to sleep with an animal. If they end up phasing, it would be extremely dangerous and potentially fatal for their partners as well. Werewolves are big and they have sharp teeth and claws. Not the ideal situation for a little tender love and care. Besides, once they phase, it would kind of ruin the mood. Imagine getting intimate and you find this huge wolf thing on top of you  Also, I know that this may be cliched, but do you think their favorite..ahem...position would be doggy style? Sorry, couldn't help it. Okay, getting back to the original question.

How it all works?: I think it's all done in human form. Once it goes werewolf, it's over.

Does it put a damper on all things physical?: I think there's an added sense of danger. Hopefully, the guy won't get angry and phase. Anger is the trigger to phasing, I think. I'm not sure if excitment is though. I mean, if they are about do to it, I don't think they should be mad at all, right? Unless they have like premature ejaculation or something. (Can I write that here?)

Do they shed?: I think they do shed, but not that much. I can't explain why, but I think they shed like wolves. Do wolves shed?
