Age-Change?

Post by Tennyo »

Since the excerpts from the philosophy thread mentioned that Stephenie would like to know how old people were compared to whether they want Bella to change, I thought we may as well make it easier for her on the rare times she can stop by.

DO NOT POST IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE SHARING YOUR AGE ONLINE.

I'll start.

Age 18-mostly anti-bite, but sometimes I'm on the fence, depending on how the plot goes.

21. Don't see the appeal in living forever/being a vampire (so anti-bite, I guess), but am pretty easily swayed, depending on the writing.

perhaps nieve, but I am pro-bite. Although, for myself, I would not want to live forever, no matter what.....It would take a thousand Edwards to convince me other wise.

22 and I'm pro-good story. ;)

I'm one of those who will be okay with (almost) anything as long as it makes sense for the plot and the characters in a story.

I'll be sixteen in eight days and I'm on the fence.

That's where I am, though. :P

You might (or might not have) noticed that I never go into speculation threads unless it's for mod reasons. I don't speculate because then I form a solid idea of what the third book "should" be. What if it's not like that? If it's better, great! But if there's something I really wanted to happen (say Bella getting--or not getting--bitten) and it doesn't, I'm going to be disappointed. No matter how good the story is or how much sense the current plot makes.

I think this is one reason some people hate Jacob so much. They were expecting a book like Twilight, full of Edward and Bella goodness. That's not what they got and were upset because of it. (And other reasons, obviously, but still...)

So it may be cheating, but it's my wonderful way of cheating!

16- and unsure. For myself, I couldn't imagine living forever. For Bella... I don't mind if she is changed, as long as she thinks about it carefully. I guess it does depend on how it's written.
I'd kind of hate a Tuck Everlasting ending, though.

That is a good way to keep a clean slate for ideas. i try not to speculate too much, but My over analytical ways make that hard. I dont have any certain expectations, i just know it is going to be good. I am interested in what would happen if bella did not become a vampire, But i want him to bite her.
