Yeah, everything between them always has to be so serious and dramatic...What happened to kicking back and having some crazy fun?? Thats what I like about Jacob. He can be mature and serious if the situation demands it, but he also knows how to be a bit carefree and have FUN.

Exactly. I just LOVE that about him.
Bella and Jacob are so comfortable in each other's presence that they can fall asleep on eachother. I love that.

I feel that out of all the characters in the book, Jacob grows up the most...He goes through so much and he changes by those experiences. I like how you keep finding new depth with Jacob, whereas I sometimes feel Edward and Bella start to get a bit boring...

Really, I find Edward quite enchanting in Twilight, but after that...I seem to get easily bored or annoyed with him..Maybe its him bouncing off Jacob and being such a contrast...But I don't know. Edward loses so much appeal to me throughout the book, along with Bella. But Jacob continues to dazzle me! (Thats right Edward lovers...Jacob can dazzle even better )

I agree. I didn't love Edward in Twilight like so many girls promised me I would, but I found him bearable. He annoyed me at times, but at other times I was like, "Awwww. He's so sweet". I didn't LOVE LOVE LOVE him, but I didn't hate him. But since Twilight, he's just annoyed me. He and Bella annoy me more and more as time goes on... Edward lost whatever small appeal he had with me during Eclipse and Bella lost her appeal in New Moon, whereas I love Jake more and more as time goes on. Bella and Edward just seem annoying to me now; I don't really like either of them. Their relationship is just so... boring. When they aren't staring at each other, they are making out. When they aren't making out, they are saying cheesy things to each other. When they aren't being cheesy, Bella is having a panic attack and Edward is saving her. When he's not saving her, they go back to staring at each other. It's just so BORING! They never do anything fun together. It's always so serious or so romantic. There's no fun!

I loved Jake in New Moon (I was pretty much Team Jacob from the second Jake came into the picture), but I ADORED him in Eclipse. His character (IMO) has so much appeal. As time goes on, he grows up more. He matures more. He learns more. But he still manages to do things that completely throw me off because he's such a fun person. As the series progresses, I love him more. It's the opposite for most of the other characters, particularly Bella and Edward. As time goes on, they just annoy me.

This doesn't have much to do with Jacob, but I can;t find a better place. Is it possible for werewolves to imprint on other males, or in Leah's case, females? PM me if you have the answer..... Just curious

That's um, interesting. Never really thought about it.
Maybe you know, as an individual, it depends on their sexual preference, and that carries over into who they imprint on.
But then again, imprinting is such a random process, I don't really understand it.
Hmm. Well that's my guess.

I agree to a point.
Bella definately annoys me, espesially in New Moon when she led Jacob on and it took her forever to realize that she was actually falling for him. I think her need for Edward is a bit much as well, she should enjoy a normal teenage life, spend time with family and friends, think about college and all that stuff.

Ill admit that Edward does things that annoy me too, like when he left. He either should have stayed gone or never had gone. Because if that had happened, Jacob (or Bella) wouldnt have hurt as much. There are alot of immature things that Edward does but i think its because he "died" at seventeen he still has that mind frame. Jacob at points shows that he is only a sixteen year old boy when him and Edward are "Fighting" over her.

But Edward still dazzles me...I like his chivalry and old-fashioned self, you can tell by how he talks or his actions how much he adores Bella and is willing to do anything for her to make her happy..

Jacob dazzles me as well. I think he is one of the most mature characters in the book and he does EVERYTHING he can to make Bella stay human. He fights for her life by trying everything he can even though Bella made her choice now at least he can say, Ive done everything i can. And that takes a strong person, so for that Jacob "dazzles" me as well.

So from this very long post i guess what im trying to say is that Both Jacob and Edward "dazzle" me but in different ways since they are like opposites...

Sooo I'm respecting some of the things you've said, but personally I think BELLA'S going to be the one making an attempt to get Jacob in Breaking Dawn.
Anyway, with that said, I think that Bella and Jake have shared more than Bella and Edward. What with their whole bonding and rebuilding stage in New Moon, it was like Edward shot Bella in the heart and Jacob was there to patch up the wound.
Their relationship is more open, they share EVERYTHING about themselves, and read each other much much better than Bella and Edward read each other.

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE Bella and Edward even if sometimes they can annoy me and yes, they have been through alot so them being able to NOT be serious and lay back and have fun like her and jacob did is hard. I agree with that 100 percent.

But, In my opinion, i think Jacob would have been a better choice.
For one, she would be able to live a normal life. Go to college. Grow old. have kids. Die happy with her husband. Jacob made her happy and she DID love him. However, since Edward came back, i DONT wish her to leave him and go back to Jacob, i think she had her chance and she chose Edward and thats that.

I agree. I'm not a Bella/Edward shipper at all-- I hate Edward and I really don't like Bella-- but I kind of feel like now that Bella's made her choice, she needs to stick with it. Jacob would have been the better choice, but she is (to quote my beloved Phantom Of The Opera) past the point of no return now . She's to the point where she needs to make a choice and just stick with it instead of hurting everyone by going back and forth. So even though Jake would have been better for her, she needs to stick with Edward.

That being said, I don't think she deserves Jake now. She's hurt him, led him on, betrayed him (in a sense), broken his heart, etc. She's hurt him so badly. Since I love Jacob and will defend him to the death, I feel sort of protective of him (which is insane, because he's fictional). So I don't want him to get hurt anymore. And I feel like Bella has hurt him so much, that she doesn't deserve to have him now. It's like... she had her chance, and she blew it.

But at the same time, a very small portion of me wants Bella/Jake to end up together after all... . But I know they won't.

But she's seen all those things with Jake too. She's seen what Jake has gone through-- her treating him like crap (she was such a terrible friend to him), turning into a giant hairy dog, living with the pain of her being with Edward, etc. Jake has gone through just as much, if not more, as the other characters. His best friend, who's life he pretty much saved, ditched him for the person he hates most and the person who broke her heart. On top of that, she's going to become a vampire, the thing he hates most. He doesn't know how to handle it. He's a teenager, but all the sudden has to act as "tribe protector". AND he potentially has to become chief. That's a lot of stress for a 16 year old boy. Jake has had just as much heartbreak and pain as Bella and Edward have.

She knows who Jake really is, too. Who he really is is the Jake we saw in New Moon; he only puts on his "Sam" face when he's really hurt. Bella knows who Jake really is better than almost anyone else-- she and Jake know everything about each other.

And she should know how much Jake cares about her. After everything he did in Eclipse, if she doesn't think he cares about her, she's kind of insane . Lol.
