Soundtrack to the movie ...

Discussion about the Twilight movie. It's all speculation until Summit Films actually produces a script and casts it.

i promise to depart just promise one thing

if not near the James situation, somewhere....the lyrics are sort of haunting...but in a good way...i love this song
TOTALLY!!! this song is amazing, i remember when i heard it i screamed 'TWILIGHT TUNE'!!! totally freaked my sister out haha. But definately, it has that sort of edge in it that i've always felt the twilight sagas had. Perfect for the movie, i hope it makes it

Can you guys please, please, please follow the rules of the thread and not post full lyrics? Sorry if I'm getting nasty, but it's so annoying reading lyrics over and over and over.

Is it ok that I'm using all of your recommendations as a guide to new music? :) I feel like since graduating college I've been totally out of the music loop.

Thank you both for introducing me to such great new music!
No probs, mandustries :D
There's a lot of good recommendations in the Recommended Music thread on the Lex. It's in the Flight To Pheonix section, if you haven't checked it out yet.

I love the song Day OK by Spiral Beach. It's not my usual thing, but it's really different, and unique. Sounds Virgin Suicides/Napolean Dynamite ish. Quirky, electronic, semi 80s inspired. Sounds like a good song for bickering with Edward in Bio. It's got a really cool energy.

Listen to This "I Want Blood" - Empires

Post by Kikiusa »

"I Want Blood"
Artist: Empires
Album: Howl

Lyrics:
I want blood, I want blood from you
If it ain't your love, I want blood from you

Desperate and a little delusional
You out my heart to grindstone
I'm waiting anxiously outside your home
Oh dear, the biggest of all fears
You wish to hell I was not here
You wish to hell and I appear

I want blood, I want blood from you
If it ain't your love, I want blood from you

Quiet now. You're sucking the charm out.
I tried the "get you to love" route, but
now the monster in rage holds me down.
Anger's a lesser disaster, the truth is I got a fever
Your scream insanity, I'll be right there.

I want blood, I want blood from you
If it ain't your love, I want blood from you

But we've got trouble now
I look for answers but there's nothing I will see
No matter how far, everywhere you seem.
A mirror arrangement, in my eyes and you repeat
And it tempts me to believe

And I want blood, I want blood from you
If it ain't your love, I want blood from you

****google this band! you will not be dissappoointed...****
:D
would be so cool in the soundtrack.

Off topicish, but in that Penelope clip, Edward's CD/record collection looks pretty impressive. I really hope the soundtrack features stuff he'd listen to.

that'd definately be interesting. I'm sure it will since Bella gets in Edward's car an awful lot in Twilight

Call me crazy, because this is really big thing to say, but they remind me tons of what a modern-day indie version of The Beatles would sound like. They're wonderful, how could anyone hate this band? Anyways, the song People by them is exactly what Bella and Edward's first kiss needs.

Say! No, no, no, no. no one's ever going to find us.
So you might as well complain woah

I LOVE that verse of the song, I think it's perfect for the climax of the scene, of couse the kiss.
I finally found a link for this song.

Listen, you will not regret it. And if you do, you have really bad taste, because Chester French is insanely amazing.

I wonder if Claire de Lune will be in the movie....it has a very sad tone to it in spots. I know NM isn't coming out yet but I was thinking they could put it in the background when Edward is breaking up with Bella....it would have signifigance for them and would fit the mood of that scene.

I think it would be very cool if the theme of the movie incorporated a kind of variation of Clair de Lune. Maybe a few bars or something. It would be really cool, and would sepearate the true fans from the newbies, 'cause we'd recognize it.
