There is this terrific 'adult' romance series about Vampires (circa 1980's) and even though the situation is reversed...the woman vampire had 'relations' with the Male Mortal-and she got preggers.

So now, let's say, because Edwards....uh....let's call it "stock" was never....used.....what if...? Although Edward would see it quite literally as a demon seed.... :-\ Hmmm
You mean that the seamen stayed in there for 100 years?
I doubt that, I'm not sure but wasen't there something about blood leaving your body when you become a vampire?I think seamen would go out as well, everything that makes him human.

Would it? If the vampire was as aesthetically pleasing as Edward, and made me want to bake with him, I'd so go for it...

I really wish people would stop calling it "baking", it sounds like we make pastry, I can picture it now "Gingerbread man does Dalas", "The XXX cooking show", "Naked chef with cream filling", "How I became a baking star", "Is that icing or are you just happy to see me?".

Well one reason i started calling it baking was:

On the day my cousin's girlfriend was having birth i was there with her. (No, its not gross, its nature and im fascinated by it. Hello? Nursing major here) Well after everything was done and i had witnessed the birth of a pretty little girl i went home and called my boyfriend. We were talking and i was telling him how i thought babies were so cute and i told him:

Me: Aww, i want one
Him: They are cute when they're small
Me: They're hard to push out though
Him: But so easy to make
Me: And fun
Him: Its like making cookies
Me: Or cakes
Him: I like cookies better
Me: How about baking in general?
Him: Fair enough

Since then i refer to the process as baking. That and when you see a pregnant lady you say "Look, she has another one in the oven"

Just my experience.

I never thought anyone else called it baking until i began posting in the original VMT thread.

I was amazed that other people thought like me. It was so comforting. I thought i just had a very perverted mind.

I think you still have a very perverted mind. There are just others here that are that perverted....like me. I had never heard baking as a euphemism before and it still cracks me up!! Oh, I do love the VMT.

I'm in love.
with this thread!
it makes me laugh.

just thought I'd introduce myself to the rest of the thread.

I don't think Edward would have slipped in the sex department. Even if he has lived for a hundred years, he claims to never have had sex, and therefore hasn't really felt a huge need for it.
I would have been different if hadn't been a virgin when he was changed.

after thought:
There's a thread on hair!?!

All right. I've just deleted ten pages of garbage. So here are a few reminders:

1. This is not a chat room. If all you have to say is that something made you laugh or that you agree, it does not contribute to the conversation. Don't post it.

2. If you have a question for an individual, use the private message system instead of the message boards.

3. Be polite. It's fine to disagree, but don't belittle individuals. This is not the place for that. If you can't play nicely, find a different sandbox.

4. This is a PG message board. The easy way to determine if what you have to say is PG is to ask yourself, "Would I see this on television before 9 p.m.?" or, "Would I want my mother to hear me say this?" If not, it doesn't belong here. This doesn't just include the seven words, it also includes vulgar slang. I know this is the Vampire MATING thread, but have some decorum!

5. We use euphemisms here on the VMT for two reasons: first, most of them are humorous, and second, when a younger person (and there are some rather young SM fans) stumbles across this thread he/she won't get the euphemisms that are over his/her head. (This has happened before. The young ones ask what it means.)

If you are new to the boards, you might want to check out Vampire Mating Threads 1-5. A number of the topics brought up recently have already been discussed.

I agree with katerine.alexandria. I don't believe Edward has slipped in the sex department. If he told Bella he's a virgin. he means it in every way, including...you know...self-baking...
