Plain Vanilla

Post by silverbullet »

Phil to seems like a plain vanilla guy. Like in his personality. He's an everyday regular guy. I think Bella's mom is doing what lots of women in their late 30's early 40's do. They marry younger men. I mean I think Phil is a pretty minor character and won't be making much appearences. I still think it would be cool to meet him though. :) What is he really like?

Yeah...pretty minor for sure. He served his purpose...which was giving Bella the excuse she needed to move to Forks so we could get our story.

Who knows, he may pop his head in sometime in the future, but I still doubt it would be significant. If anyone, it would be more logical to see more of Renee before Phil. But then again, I am not the author, so who knows.

I think many minor characters you will get to know better later. But I agree. I much rather see Renee and agree it's more likely that we'll see more of her than Phil.

Phil is just to give Renee a purpose for letting Bella go. I really doubt there is more to him...but then again we never know.

I would like to get more of Renee though, see if she has a real excuse for being so...'flacky' as a mom?

Maybe Renee is so flaky as a mother is because she's one those moms who wants to be young again. So she keeps up with the latest fashions and fads and isn't much of a motherly figure. Which doesn't usually work out so well but in this case it worked out for Bella! :)

I wonder how Phil met Renee in the first place, and what he saw in this older woman to want to get married? I wonder of they dated much before getting married?

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!! From Renee's point of view and as a girl I totally agree! But it's Phil's side I am curious about...what did he see in her? Just how youthfull is she to have hooked up and married with a younger guy?
