I think that Ben Cheney is a character easily forgotten, and that's a shame! For those of you who have heard the scene from Midnight Sun in which Edward tries to give a present to Angela, you know where I'm coming from on this one.

Ben seems like a sincerely nice guy (one of the reasons he's perfect for Angela). Intelligent, soft spoken, kind and short! LoL! There isn't much to go on for him yet, but I can honestly say that he's my favorite human male in the Twilight series. :)

But writing a story from Angela's point of view <a href="http://www.ravenclaw.us/twilight/viewstory.php?sid=85">(which can be found here for those who are interested)</a> really made me appreciate Ben. Granted, I might have gotten some things wrong, but it seems close.

What does anyone else think of Ben?

I don't love or hate Ben, obviously, because he doesn't say anything or in Twilight nor in New Moon... But I want to know more about him, because I love Angela. She is the best person of Bella's school friends. I would like to know more about both, Angela and Ben.

I really like Ben, and it is a shame that we haven't heard much about him. In addition to being intelligent and short :wink: , he's just really sweet. Remember when he wouldn't go to the movies without Angela. I'm really glad that he and Angela are together because they are both just so nice. They definitely belong together.

Where was this scene heard of/from? I am intrigued...

Ben seems like a really great guy, and I want to learn more about him, because of Angela, who is amazing!

I know about her website, and I've read the first chapter about 12 times...but the bit about Edward trying to give Angela a present? What? Am I missing something?

That part is from a scene in Midnight Sun that Stephenie has read at a few of the I Love Edward Cullen parties she's attended. It's an amazing scene for a variety of reasons (one of the best being that you get to see Edward and Emmett acting like true teenagers!), but, by the end of it, Edward has tricked Ben into asking Angela out. They both liked each other for a long time but they both thought the height difference was too big (Ben is 6 inches shorter). Edward is the reason they're together! :D

Oh, Stephenie read it at the parties. No wonder I couldn't find it anywhere. THanks Seraphyn. Aww...that's so sweet of Edward. It just makes me love him more, if that's even possible. And the fact that Ben was so shy about asking out Angela is SO cute. I can't wait until Midnight Sun is posted/published!

Sorry to any short males in attendence but I like mine tall. Very tall. Over 5' 10'' tall. But from the brief scenes that Ben has he seems to be a sweetie. So if he has a magical growth spurt...... Well, anyway, maybe we will see a bit more of him in Eclipse. :D
