<center>I love Angela,

<center>And I mean if Edward felt the need to invite Jacob who he despises
<center>I'm sure Angela who the Cullens generally seem to like would be invited too
<center>:]

<center>Also,
<center>I don't think Angela would look into things
<center>I think she's more of the type of person who would wait for you to tell her big news
<center>Instead of fishing for it or unleashing a million questions (Jess)

<center>I know Angela's going to be happy for Bella
<center>And give her the best advice

<center>Has anyone noticed that in Twilight there are really mature characters who are wise beyond their years
<center>Like Bella and Angela and Sam
<center>....
<center>And there are characters who act about 5
<center>Like Jessica, and Jacob
(but he's still young he's allowed to have a few temper tantrums)
<center>Mike and Lauren

<center>Angela's definitly one of the wiser ones.

Angela will go - she's friends with Alice, too.

I loved how in the first chapter of Midnight Sun she was the only one who didn't obsess over Bella and that in Twilight she was shy. I knew that she was going to be a really true friend with Bella. And I was happy that Angela could except Bella back after Bella started hanging out with Jacob and was happier.

I agree with you. Midnight Sun gave insights into so many characters, including Angela. And that's just chapter one!!!

(and it's accept, not except)

i agree. SM writes all sort of different characters and personalities to go with them. so i guess they can be divided to the mature ones and the immature ones in a way

People like Angela are the ones who are really likeable, but difficult to get them to open up. In a way, she's sort of like bella.

I'd say Bella's not wise at all. She's a bit of an idiot, actually. I wouldn't call her "wise".

And I don't think Jake is 5. He's quite mature, IMO. Especially at the end of Eclipse when he has his little chat with Bella. He grew up a lot then.

I'm interested in opinions about what constitutes wise. I'm not sure I would classify Angela as wise. In contemplating all the major characters in the saga, I think probably Carlisle and perhaps Jasper are the only ones I'd apply that label to.

Angela is sweet, loyal, genuine, considerate, generous, and an all-round nice person, but wisdom means more to me than those things. What do you think makes a person wise?
