Perhaps...But that is a HUGE point in any relationship...Its not a terrible thing for her to want...

But I cant disagree with your posts either...Your logic is undeniable

That's true. I don't think it's a terrible thing for her to want. Just the context of when she wanted it-- before marriage, her "one last wish as a human", etc-- bothered me because of my own personal beliefs. Buuuuuuuuut I can understand how she would want that.

I can understand Bella's view, I guess... I just don't necessarily agree with it.

Team Jacob-- Because dogs are better than leeches. Because real men don't sparkle. Because Romeo is a pansy. Because Jake is HUMAN.

Yup. I understand. I just think that in this case "smarts" should overrule the "wants".

But I think that Bella runs a little low in the former category...

Yeah, exactly. Logically, it's not a good idea. Logically, it could be dangerous. But like you said, our Bella isn't always the best at using that little noggin of hers.

Yeah, if she used her noggin she would know, that someone alive is far more attractive than someone who has been dead almost one hundred years!

Well Bella's just weird.
She doesn't recognize a good thing when she sees it :). Jk.

This is straying from Bella's choice in men -forgive me if I use the term lightly- but I had a thought about Bella and her choice to become a vampire. It's been discussed earlier in the forum, of course, but the discussion of if/when in the final installment Bella becomes a vampire; will she have some sort of extra little gift?

Going along with this tangent, and some of the arguments made from it, if Bella becomes a vampire in the end- which it's almost practically assured unless it turns into a real tragedy- and does actually come out of it with a gift; what would it be? Obviously this questions has been mulled over by many of us fans. It was thought to be an extention of a human trait; which leads many to think perhaps her perception would be somehow amplified.

Does this mean that perhaps it is plausible to suggest Bella's natural aversion to blood as a human, may transgress into 'vampirehood'? Perhaps her opinion on blood may prove to be her strength as a vampire, and perhaps in her newly-turned state would enable her to have control over the instinctive nature of a vampire to lust for blood, blood, blood?

Don't know if that thoughts been offered yet, thought I'd bring it up =)

I never thought of that

Post by bella3190 »

You know I never thought of that cause she gets along with them so well, and she doesnt mind them maybe just maybe she will be a good newborn vampire and not lust as much as other newborns would do. I also think that her clumsiness will go away as well cause it might change her in that way. And I think that she will also maybe have a power that allows her to do something along the lines of jasper but diffrent, maybe like being able to just touch them and they instantly feel better, but yeah I think that would be cool.

I don't think she'll have an aversion to blood, *if* she becomes a vampire (to me, her becoming a vampire is the real tragedy, not the other way around. Lol). I read an interview in which SM said Bella will be as bloodthirsty as your normal vampire if she becomes one. Soooo I don't think she'll have that aversion to blood. Maybe she'll be able to learn self-control easier, but she'll still be a vampire. She'll still feel the desire.

And, IMO, it'll be really lame if Bella is a vampire who is "immune" to blood or whatever. It kind of defeats the purpose of "vampire"... haha :). A vampire who doesn't drink blood? What kind of vamp is that?!

I love Bella and I think that a part of the reason people love twilight so much is that everyone has a little bit of Bella in them I mean besides the rich and famous something about us is average like Bella and I often find myself feeling the same way Bella does about situations in the book and I mean what girl wouldnt want to Bella Swan seriously Edward Cullen and Jacob Black are in love with her :D
