I mean we know she's able to care about people because of the Cullens I just think it's hard for her to except change and Bella was a huge change.
i agree. she's exactly that sort of person. she warms up to you when you get to know her better
and i also agree that in the books, rosalie has changed a lot of her perspectives about bella and well, if you ask me it's only a matter of time before she and bella become good sisters

oh, Bella. You're too innocent to be seductive.
which is why this quote gets me every time
<center> I was never really completely clear on what happened that night with Rosalie
<center> Did they rape her and beat her?
<center> Or just beat her..
<center> I assume she was raped, but it was never really said directly.

i think they rapped her. remember the part where her fiancee's friend said that he couldn't tell whether rosalie was prettier than his other girls cause she has her clothes on?
bt i don't think SM would get into detail about that incident. twilight is after all still a 'young adult' rated book

<center> Yeah,
<center> She kind of left it to the imagination
<center> I feel really bad for Rosalie,
<center> BUT WHAT WAS SHE THINKING!?
<center>She knew how stunningly beautiful she was
<center> And yet she was walking alone at night!
<center> Still, that wasn't her fault
<center> She was a brat, but she didn't deserve that to happen to her.

I'm not sure they would. I know Rosalie always seems to want to be human, but if it meant giving up Emmett and her strength and beauty...

well, she was kind of preoccupied on her thoughts about her weding and stuff so she probably wasn't paying much attention to the surroundings
and it could be that back then the streets were safer than it is today? just a hunch here though

she was slightly depressed to take notice in her surroundings.
she just left the life she truly wanted and was pondering if she would ever have a cute baby boy with brown locks and dimples.... i don't think she noticed where she was going or which way home she took.....
My first instinct was that they raped her. I think it's clear in the way he says that he'll need to find a new fiancee after. In that time, purity was of the utmost importance, and she would have been considered unfit for marriage after being intimate with a man (no matter the circumstances). As for what Rosalie was thinking, I can't imagine that when she first saw her fiancee in the alley that she'd even considered the possibility that he would hurt her. She was planning to marry this man, and she thought that he cared for her.
I don't think Rosalie would ever go back to being human if she was given the opportunity. I think that at this point she's too emotionally connected to her life and her family to go back. I can't see her abandoning this life for a human one. I just think that she wishes she'd been able to remain human and live her dream of having a loving husband and children. She's merely mourning the life that is now lost to her.
