Kacie wrote:From just googleing the name Caius, one description of some guy who lived in Rome way way WAY back in the day,

he was very pursuasive:
"It happened to be a sharp and sickly winter in Sardinia, so much that the general was forced to lay an imposition upon several towns to supply the soldiers with necessary clothes.(make the towns give their clothes to the army). The cities sent to Rome, petitioning to be excused from that burden (they said thats dumb we don't want to); the senate found their request reasonable, and ordered the general to find some other way of new clothing the army. While he was at a loss what course to take in this affair, the soldiers were reduced to great distress; but Caius went from one city to another, and by his mere representations he prevailed with them, that of their own accord they clothed the Roman army.

He was a super smooth orator. silver tongue. best car salesman you will ever know of.

second example: (Caius left..)
But he, finding how things were carried, immediately in anger took ship for Rome, where his unexpected appearance obtained him the censure (publicly reprimanding a public official for inappropriate behavior) not only of his enemies, but also of the people; who thought it strange that a quaestor (elected officials of the Roman Republic who supervised the treasury and financial affairs of the state, its armies and its officers) should leave before his commander. Nevertheless, when some accusation upon this ground was made against him to the censors (politician), he desired leave to defend himself, and did it so effectually, that, when he ended, he was regarded as one who had been very much injured.

Yes, evil lord is right. I think there might be a little fight between the Volturi and Cullens *SCREAM*. I hope it doesn't happen. As for Alec and Jane again *SCREAM* I don't want to see them, epsecialy Jane.

Jane is AWSOME!!!!!

He's so curious... I think his curiosity is a reason Bella is still alive.
"Not to bring on the ire prematurely," he whispered, "but do you mind telling me what it is about this bed that you object to?"......."That's debateable," he disagreed. "This would be difficult on a couch."

Actually, Caius was very firm that Bella die. He wasn't at all pleased that Aro let her go. Aro was the one that seemed more curious to me.

I think Caius could have the ability to see intentions, but I don't think that much.

Another form of Caius is Gaius, and there was a Caesar Gaius "who saw leadership" well his own.But imagine Caius in his previous life he could have had a very good sense of authority and known how to be a leader.Notice although Aro is "leader" of the Voturi Caius seems to be the backbone the General(or whatever the right-hand man is) so to speak.

but I might just be searching a bit to deep into this.

The name Caius actually means Rejoice, but seriously,Caius rejoice how about unjoice , just kidding that was a terrible pun.

'Unjoice'?

I don't get it.

Caius amuses me. The Twilight fangirl in me who supports Bella all the way is slightly miffed my Caius's negativity toward her, but the sarcastic pessimist who enjoys getting on people's nerves and watching them suffer from depression identifies with him as a kindred spirit. They both have a lovely repertoire of ways to make people squirm, and neither is bothered by using it.

Joy = Happy
Un-Joy = Unhappy

Caius just doesn't like Bella because she's a human.

On that note, I love him. He really gets me thinking about the Volturi.

I know what the opposite of rejoicing is; I didn't understand whether or how that was supposed to be funny.

Anyways, Caius's attitude is endearing to me.
