Doesn't she live with trackers or have easy access to them?niski wrote:How in the world did Irina find out that Laurent was killed by the werewolves?
I don't want to be killed for this but I respected Irina's decision to stay away from the fight despite her going against Carlisle. She did not fight along-side them because she lost her life mate to the werewolves that is understood, but if you go a little deeper than the surface betrayal she actually could have saved everyone from potential disaster. The Cullens and the pack were fighting a hefty battle that could go very wrongly if internal conflict were to arise. What if Irina couldn't control herself and then the wolves and she would be fighting and the newborns would be attacking and it would be a mess.
Now I'm going to go deeper and make this an anger thing instead of an act of grace. The Cullens are fighting with the werewolves who killed Laurent. It is as we know the Cullens 'fault' that the werewolves are actually there so one could venture to make the leap that she blames them for the death of Laurent.
To anyone that asked why he didn't gush out his emotions about Irina in the meadow: he was just about to eat, my words would be short too if I were about to eat having gone without food for a long time. Also, what right does Bella have to know whom he loves and whom he does not love.
As for being the new Victoria I agree to an extent. The battle Irina wants isn't with Bella, it's with Jacob. I'm not sure how that's going to work out because that's going to mess so hard with Bella if she's attacking him. She'd lose her mind. Yikes!
P.S. I'm so glad there's an Irina thread. The Denali clan needs more stage time. (I almost said 'love' I can understand how that might not be the best word).
