^ Alec's gift is more potent than Jane's, but we do not know what it is. We do know that it is because of his gift that the Volturi guard is invincible.

Lets hope we get to know what it is in BD!

Maybe...

Post by vampgirl9 »

Maybe he doesnt even have any powers i know its a stretch but really you only see him a few times and the members of the Volturi didnt seem to highly regard him maybe hes just in because of his sister and the hipe on all of his powers is just that...hipe. Maybe they are just saying he has powers to scare people off because they know that since hes related to Jane he will be powerful...but hes really not. Ive been thinking about this for a while and a few people actually agree with me.
What do you think?

Didn't SM say that he did have a "formidable gift?" Since Alec and Jane are twins i would assume that chances are they would have a similar gift, but perhaps alec's is more developed. Like being able to inflict pain on a large group of people simultaneously.
I personally think that in BD he will play a fairly large roll

He has to...or at least I want him to.
Stephenie wouldn't just end the series without telling us.
A good chunk of BD has to be devoted to the Volturi. They are going to check up on Bella to see if she is a vampire.

Maybe he can control people's thoughts!
It would help keep the Volturi invisible
Alec: "You never saw or heard of the Volturi" *wiggly fingers*
Random townsperson: "I have never seen or heard of the Volturi."

Like Jedi, but only vampirized.
The Volturi would love him for that.

haha most vampires it seems (especially alice and edward) simply use their good looks (and occasionally money) to control people haha. I bet its something cool like, if he gets mad, he can like burn a village down with his thoughts. Like how Jane had mental fire, his is like literal fire haha
