I was watching the telly yesterday (something I rarely do), and saw a commercial for a new vampire movie. *sigh* What caught my interest, though, was the music. You'll never guess who it was... (or maybe you will--you all are a pretty smart bunch, if you're Muse fans)

*drumroll*

Apocalypse, Please!

I thought that was pretty funny--Muse and vampires (though not the right kind...). Two of my favorite things, all put together in one happy mix!

So even though I wasn't planning on going to see the movie, I might now...or maybe I won't. (It did look pretty scary!)

So has anyone else seen this?

Yup - sure did! And, passed along the YouTube of the trailer to my friends at work that are all new Muse fans because of me...whee!

About that movie...
We do alot of Halloween decor and costumes at my job (I'm one of the product designers/concept artists/illustrators), so I have been considering going to it, Thirty Days of Night, as "research" (ha!) but from what I've read about the Graphic Novel that it's based on...and a few early reviews by film critics...it sounds more like an excuse for alot of gore rather than an interesting story about vampires. But, I could be wrong.

LOL Matt Belamy, the lead singer.......i like the pun *muses*..........actually everytine i see muse - it's like i drift off to a hapier and more musical place lol

Muse, oh Muse... I wonder if their popularity rate has gone up a lot because of Stephenie Meyer and her loyal followers

Knights of Cydonia, Time is Running Out, Hysteria, and Butterflies & Hurricanes are my favorite songs.

I LOVE MUSE!!! My favorite songs are probably Starlight, and Butterflies and Hurricanes. All of them remind me of Twilight so much, its crazy! Its like they were written by Edward and Bella!
