Strange Compliments

Post by E.C. Dahlia »

Okay, so today I was at Subway and the lady behind the counter was probably in her mid-40's. She was like, "I really like your eyes. They're so pretty. They're.. angelic eyes. Yes, angelic eyes." She was kind of the construction worker type. It scared me. lol.

Do you have any weird experiences like that?

I was walking down the hallway at my school and some random kida spun around in front of me and said YOu are Beautiful!

It made me laugh because I replied and you are funny and he got this weird look of shock on his face.

oh the crazy things people do.

it was more creepy than anything.

I was told from a random old lady that my skin looks "like a porcelain doll's" err... do they even have skin? :? dunno, I though it was pretty creepy.

and "I like your eyebrows" yeah, I get that one a lot from my moms friends for some reason. I guess it's cause I wax them instead of plucking. wierd comliment nonetheless.

and LOL petuniagirl15- that is so hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not about me, but my parents went for a run once and they saw a mentally handicapped man along the way. He told my mom he liked her name ('Brenda... I like it. Brenda, Brenda, you're so fine. You're so fine you blow my mind - Brenda!') And my dad was wearing a fancy running jacket ('I like that jacket, Dan. That's a running jacket). Of course, I don't know if that's exactly how he said it, because I wasn't actually there, but that's what the imitations were like.

And when I was little and me and my mom were shopping an old man came up to us and said I was beautiful, or cute or something along those lines and bought me a little plastic princess crown. My mom checked with the staff and they assured her he was just a really nice guy.
"I feel human." He stared past me, his face far away. His lower lip trembled, and he bit down on it hard.

No kidding. About 5 years ago I was at the food court of the mall, and this random guy (who had to be at least 10 years my senior) walked up to me and said.

"You are so hot. You look just like my sister."

Um....Needless to say, he left WITHOUT my phone number
