So sorry to all those who are feeling sick. There is nothing worse, IMO!

While I have always been somewhat of a night owl myself, I have found that since my obsession with all things Twilight began, it has gotten even worse. I don't turn off the light until after 1:00 AM because I am (most recently) really into some fan fiction.

Una...if you go to the main page of the lex blog you can see the ET clip on youtube, but like you, I can't wait to see the real trailer tomorrow.

I need to get in on these late night chats  I'll have to make sure I'm on YM tonight. I think it automatically logs me in when I am online, but I don't always have it open or something so I can't see everyone that is online. :?

I have found some really good FF so if anyone wants some recommendations let me know. But for you DGG...if you haven't read Switzerland Under Siege....YOU MUST. It is on FF.net.

I am so glad to keep seeing all of you. I haven't been able to interact much since I am on vacation.

I am going to attempt a PSD (I think that is what it is called). I really like the look of Michael Weatherly and I love his character on NCIS. Here is a link ( I think)

I know I didn't do it as beautifully as some of you, but I am working on limited knowledge and on my mom's computer. I want my own computer!

Enjoy!

I LOVE NCIS! And Michael is a hottie! I can just see him as Tohr. Maybe 'Probie' would make a good Blaylock if he wasn't short.

So was I able to successfully post a link?

Hey fans taking off to my client so I won't be able to adjust or restart the music if it dies. As a side note don't go looking at this thread over at The Leaky Cauldron. Most of the fans there are ripping Twilight a new one seems they are very much upset that SM has been compared to JKR. All of them or at least most seem very negative.

You know, I can understand Stephenie's trepidation about being compared to JKR. It would be hard to live up to. However, as far as everyone else, I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and I can see the comparison. I don't know why people get to hung up about it. They have similar stories and similar success stories. Oh well.

I'm glad the forums haven't been shut down quite yet. But, I hope the Lex doesn't get into trouble.

Thanks for that link Misfit!

I am not a Harry Potter fan and never got into that series. I mean, I read the first book and saw the first movie, but that was it. Which movie was Rob in? Perhaps I will rent that one....

It is always interesting to hear what other opinions are....

By the way, did any of you visit gofugyourself? I have to say that I was totally on board with what she said about Edward's obession with Bella being borderline creepy as I felt that way sometimes while reading. The fact that he is with her almost ALL THE TIME. I mean, I do understand true love, but even I don't want to be with him ALL THE TIME. I barely want to be with myself all the time!

For those who didn't visit, this is what she said in reference to the EW cover:
So, Twilight is really, really popular, right? If you haven't read it, I guarantee that someone you know has, and is probably obsessed with it. I am not personally a huge fan for a variety of reasons, which I won't get into because I don't need Twilight fans after my donkey (okay: basically I think a lot of the plot points which are presented as being Super Romantic are actually creepy and stalkery and, listen, you just should not be okay with it if you find out that this dude you're seeing has been sneaking into your house unbeknownst to you and watching you sleep all night, every night, even if it's under the guise of "protecting you" or something because for one thing, if you need protection, don't you have a right to know that from the get-go instead of being treated like someone from a 1940s three-hankie weeper where the doctor and Bette Davis's husband, like, make the executive decision not to tell the little lady that she's got a giant brain tumor? ....I'll stop there. Don't email me! I know tons of people love it. My very own sister is obsessed with it. I get it. I read all the Anne Rice Lestat books. I've BEEN THERE.)

Anyhoodle, the book stresses over and over and over and over and over again that Cedric Diggory's character up there is like the Most Beautiful, Handsome, Glorious, Sparkly (yes, he literally sparkles) Boy Alive -- or, you know, Undead, since he's a vampire and all. Whereas, I feel like THIS particular version of Edward....would have a hard time passing as a high school student. As he looks like a zombie. Not even a hot zombie. A zombie in need of a good hot oil treatment. No matter what issues I have with the book, the dude is supposed to be HOT. All vampires are hot. It's like a rule of pop culture. Have we learned NOTHING from Buffy? (Well, considering that she'd tell this poor sap to put away the chest pubes, make a joke about his lipstick and stake his donkey instead of swooning with some produce, I guess not.) Oh, Entertainment Weekly. First, your cruddy re-design and now this. What am I going to do with you?

Ok...I thought it was pretty funny. I had some of the same concerns when I read...you know the watching her while she slept, being completely obsessed with her...but I got over it. I told reality to take a hike, and just enjoyed myself.

When the author talks about vampires being hot and to take a note from Buffy, I couldn't help picture what the Buffy vamps actually looked like when they turned "vampy." Yeah..they weren't so hot. More like..crusty and bumpy. Ewww..

I still prefer my vampires sparkly and pretty. This is how I deal with RP as Edward: everyone has his or her own idea of what Edward looks like. RP is not my Edward, but he is for some people. It doesn't hurt me or my idea of Edward.

hey bac - that boy is scrumptious!! With longer hair, that would make a good Lucas in the Psy Series....I agree with Nima - that jaw...makes me want to lick it!

misfit - thanks for the music!!! I'm really liking it! Will I see you at Albertson's today??? Hmmmm....I wonder! Just so you know, I'm a very exerburant person when excited (like you couldn't tell already ) ...by the time I actually meet you I will totally hug you...so you might want to warn your wife who the crazy lady is that'll tackle you in the aisle! :D

Exercise...I ran two days in a row - I'm up for 3 tomorrow!! I usually take a day off in between and do 3/days a week..but I'm thinking I should be exercising a full 5 days a week so I can lose this last 35 pounds and get my 'girls' fixed and put back into their original locations  ...that'll be my reward...by that time I will have lost 95 pounds.

I find the best time to exercise is early in the morning...before I can give myself an excuse not to or I'm too tired. I also have to meet with someone or I never get out of bed to exercise. Seems I can let myself down easier than someone waiting for me at 6:00am  ....sad, but true!

"Hmmmm...," he mused as he quickly finished. "It seems I'm going to have to tamper with your memory."
