Stephenie, and her perseverance, have inspired me to keep dreaming.

I've become stuck at a point in my life and am struggling with where to go from here. Reading the Twilight Saga and the story behind the books' creation has kept me from giving up.

Reading them makes me happy ... and knowing that all it took was a dream to start this entire thing gives me hope for the future.

Stephenie Meyer has inspired me in so many ways. She's motivated me. With Twilight, I have something that I can love and cherish, and something that can make me smile, even if I feel depressed and irritated. I can just pull Twilight or New Moon or Eclipse out and read a chapter, and I can smile.

She's given me a place to escape to. With the stress of school, friends, family, extracurriculars, there is one constant in my life. Something that will always cheer me up. If I feel upset, I can hide away and start reading, and be transported to a world where there are happy endings.

She's boosted my creativity. Before this, I felt "I am horrible at everything, I have no inspiration, and I'm a failure at life." Now with this, Twilight is my inspiration, Stephenie is my inspiration, the Lex is my inspiration. I can think, if one person can create a world, so great and wonderful, I'd like to contribute. She makes me want to strive for more. She's proved one person can make a difference.

And, she's brought us together. Normally, I am totally against the social networks, etc. But, when I'm on here, I can know that I'm on with a whole heck of a lot of people with at least two things in common. 1) We all love Twilight, and 2) We all have a brain. At school, I can find at least five people in five minutes who don't know what the word "naivety" means. Twilight gives me something smart to discuss, and makes it okay to use "big words" and "high vocabulary". Twilight's brought us together, and given us something intellectual to talk about.

Lastly, she's a role model. She's down to earth, has a sense of humor, is smart, caring, etc. She's a person to look up to in a society of pop stars and celebrities who make all the wrong decisions. We can look up to someone who has made the right decisions.

Stephenie has given me strength to believe that motherhood does not have to mean losing yourself.

I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first child and about to become a housewife. It will be the first time since I was 16 that I will have no job and be entirely dependant on another person. It will also be the first time I have someone entirely dependant on me. Scary stuff.

Having loved Stephenie's books and followed her career for many years, it inspires me that she can be a mom to 3 young boys and still retain enough of a sense of self and purpose to create these wonderful worlds for us.

Thank you Stephenie.

firstly, i am a bit of a writer myself. she showed me that when you dream about something, or come up with a fabulous idea, you should bring it to life! even if your just a normal person as she was, you can come up with the most amazing ideas ever. she created a whole mini universe of her own online fanatics, and i admire her for that.
oh, and freekin team jane! hope she finds a nice vampire boy thats not quite as hot as edward, but pretty freekin close!

I can't even begin to describe how much Stephenie and her writing has inspired me. It helped me escape my reality and find a new world where I CAN control what happens to me. I can watch other people go through things and fall in love without having to be involved. All this talk about love gave me hope that I could move on from this place I seem to be stuck in and know that there is a whole world waiting for me. Stephenie, most notebly gave me the strength to go forward with my plans to write a book. A push was all I needed. I will always be greatful for that.
I heart Rupert Grint!!
Forks is my happy place!
" "Don't be afraid," I murmered.
"We belong together."
I was abruptly overwhelmed by the truth of my own words.
This moment was so perfect, so right.
There was no way to doubt it.
His arms were wrapped around me,
Holding me against him....
It felt like every nerve ending in my body was a live wire.

Stephenie's books (twilight, duh) inspired me so much when I was recovering from a painful back surgery. They helped me make it throught the day and lifted my spirits whenever I needed to smile. For that I will always be thankful.

Stephenie has inspired me to create art again. As soon as I read these books, it was just like an explosion inspiration. It's sort of hard to explain, its like i feel so strongly for these characters that it makes me want to see it, and make other people see it, what I'm feeling. It truly makes me happy. Thank you Stephenie for giving me my art back. ^^

Stephenie Meyer

Post by twilighter1234 »

Stephenie Meyer has inspired me in several ways.
She has taught me that it's OK to be shy,
that just because your clumsy doesn't mean that it's the end of the world,
you don't have to care about what you look like,
there IS somebody out there that's right for you,
and who will stay by you,
and sometimes people are OK with imperfection.
Lastly, Stephenie Meyer taught me that if I stick to something, it just might change a life or two.
