I'm a beaver, you're a beaver, etc.

Well. I forgot my 9th Doctor rant.

He's weird. Not as in weird-weird or hyper-weird, but as in bald-weird. But sort of not really because he's only half bald, but he's weird and weird in a weird kind of weird way.

Okay all done.

There is nothing wrong with Doctor 9. In fact, Doctor 9 is Doctor 10, but with a leather jacket. I am not seeing how he is any weirder that 10.

Next week is Blink, So don't turn around, and whatever you do, Don't Blink.

We can still discuss any other pervious episode. Don't just stop in to say you've seen it! We can discuss it just like the RDP discusses Jacob.

Wait... no... not quite like that.

Wow, I had no idea this thread was here. My friend got me turned on to Dr.Who a while back and I love the show to the end of the universe and back. A favorite episode of mine in the Madame De Pompadore one. For some reason I LOVED that episode SO much.

Yay Who fans!

It was heartbreaking, but so perfect.
That was the Family of Blood, right? 'Cos that's what was in America.

It was good, save I was bothered by one little thing. And it ruined it. Tim had the watch, but there was no reason that it would speak to him. The Doctor clearly said that a normal human wouldn't notice anything about it. He didn't even notice it. Tim also knew about the future and such, so I was convinced he wasn't human. But he was, and that was bothersome.

Ah! Yes! An excellent performance by Tennant, though. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, I did not feel at all moved by it. I was crying during Daleks in Manhattan, but even though I was close this time, it just... (The World War parts would have gotten more emotion, it's just that it didn't seem quite right. Tim couldn't have been more than 12 and there he was out in battle. It was bothersome.) I did like the end part where Martha and Doctor visit Tim.

No, I thought Tim was a mini Time Lord. I mean Tim is so close to TimE and he was sort of psychic, like Alice. It was just sad that he wasn't.

My special Time Lord song can now never come to light... Until Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords... but after that... Why, Tim?! Why did you have to be human?! Why?!?!?!
My husband has this theory that Tim could hear it because he was gifted somehow. Also that he may come into play as being a TimeLord. He thinks it has to do with the Face of Bo saying there is anohter timelord.

While searching for screencaps, I found a Doctorquote. It was something about Tim being... really... um... wait, now I forgot. Something about, erm, him being very perceptive, I think.

doctor who

Post by TrueLoveIsForever »

I love doctor who!!!! It's too bad you guys in America have to wait- but it's worth it :)

okay, who cried at Doomsday? I did- loads. and i was at a friends house. oh dear

Torchwood was over here last year and I loved that too! It's like doctor who with more mature themes but definatley worth watching if you catch it- but if you're squeamish it's a big no-no.

Shall we start a discussion? who was a fan of the Doctor and Rose as a couple?

Right, begin my Dr Who obsessive rant!!!

I cant wait till Torchwood series 2 starts here (uk, haha) this autumn!!!!!!!! captain jack is hilarious, and my moms in love with whats-his-name, the one whose a doctor (a doctor, not THE doctor). it's great...and guess what, Spike from Buffy is going to be in it-whoop whoop!!!!

Doctor Who is amazing, but i didnt like the last series as much as the first two. probably because Rose wasn't in it, and shes probably my favourite character of all time.*sobs*

My mom is in love with the ninth dr, chris ecc, but we all love david tennant. hehehehehe.

right, onto the discussion...the doctor and rose as a couple?

LOVED THEM!!!! i spent all of series three sulking that rose wasnt there anymore, and wanting to throw martha out of the tardis - she had no right (in my mind) to be there!!aargh!! no offense to her, but because of rose, i can see no other companion, if martha had been there first, id be fine with her...but the doctor and Rose all the way!

and oh yeah, marthas going to be in torchwood as well...hopefully ill like her more in that!

and im off...

I haven't watched since Christopher Eccleston left the show. Is it still worth watching? I am a big Eccleston fan and now he's on Heroes, so I'll definitely be watching that.
