Is my description under 100 words? Hmm, gotta check. Other than that, I'm really happy to see this thread alive! Post voices, people! It's not embarrassing; it's educational.

We should try to keep from recording what others have said. That way, we have a larger variety.

I switch my accent depending on how articulately I'm talking. If it's normal everyday I speak in my Australian accent, but I switch to more of an upper class British accent when I'm speaking more formally or having an inteligent conversation with someone because I find it easier to get my voice around the words then. I really hate the stereotypical thick Australian accent because it belongs to the Bogans (wiki that one) and how I despise most of the bogans (though some I can get along with). Mullet *cringe*

Wow, what an awesome idea!! I'd want a Jacob part, lol.

I'd love to do it, but I have no idea how to do the recording thing. Plus I'm a Kiwi, and I read somewhere that New Zealanders have the worst accents, so I'd probably sound hideous :D

I do think it's a brilliant idea though. To have all the fans reading it to make an audio cd of Twilight, or the series for Stephenie.
How wonderful!
You could even have parts in different languages depending on where fans are from. To show how culturally diverse/reaching the series is.

Don't worry about it. We all think we have awful accents and to everyone else they're always bloody awesome. You're safe.

I think that is a great idea. I'm off to translate Aro's parts to Spanish.

That is a really cool idea. It'll be like hearing all the different kinds of voices of the fans. I think my voice is kind of boring, but maybe that's just me. I probably do sound different in other places though.

Yeah, but the thing is that everyone thinks theirs is boring/nonexistant, and to other people, it's not

New Zeadlanders don't have the worse accent in the world. The worst accents are te hybrids. My friend (who is actually New Zealandish) has a screwed up accent. His parents have a real sock english accent so he managed to pick up the worst of both of the accents and you could barely understand him. Took us 5 minutes to work out that "didly" was actually "deadly" (thought he ws making a simpsons joke) and he actually said "co'age" instead of "cottage". Another friend of mine who is japanese speaks english in and engrish way but also with a heavy american accent to it was nigh impossible to unsterstand what she was saying alot of the time. So in conclusion ,:P, a straightout New Zealand accent is not the worst in the world.

I don't notice that I have an accent at all of course. But I've been told that I have a very canadian accent. My french teacher tells me I sound like a stupid canadian while trying to read aloud in french so apparently I have a very canadian accent. :?

Lol... I'm from TN so yeah I have little bit of a country accent...

-anywho-

I noticed a Soda vs. Pop vs. Coke debate. So I'm beging to wonder if this is the only place where we just call them cold drinks. Like "Hey could you get me a cold drink while your up." Not very descriptive but, whatever it works.

In Australia we call them soft drinks which comes from the fact that they don't have alcohol. Guess it makes sense when people say they're "hitting the hard stuff".
