Translation:
This was sitting up to, under a tree very his raven colored hair blowing across his likeness upon light breeze. I knew this could never to emerge my , yet when didn't to stand me out of hollow upon his beauty. I was to turn back when my book when I saw his head to arise. I facial expression upwards and saw him facial expression straight far me very his piercing blue eyes. I couldn't facial expression absent , and I didn't I want when. For far when moment , I felt as this I want me , as this truly protection.
So a guy was sitting at a tree and he had dark, raven hair that was blowing in the breeze. It would never emerge her mind?? But he was beautiful, she turned back to her book and she his head arise. She saw his expression as if it was looking through her. The rest is a bit confusing.

I'm surprised you got that far! Yay for you!
Here's the actual text before translation.
"He was sitting under a tree with his raven colored hair blowing across his face in the light breeze. I knew he could never be mine, yet that didn't stop me from basking in his beauty. I was turning back to my book when I saw his head come up. I looked up and saw him looking straight at me with his piercing blue eyes. I couldn't look away, and I didn't want to. For at that moment, I felt as if he wanted me, as if he actually cared."
I was really surprised that you got that far into the setting.

I dropped the styrofoam dinner dish and ran. I ran out of the door into the woods after. Gasping for breath, I began to trudge into the forest. (Uh' I made that part up- 'cause I didn't know how to make this sentence fit. *grins* Sorry.) It was an oak tree of the people, however, there was something wrong. It wasn't alive. Its way of life was withering, feeble.
It had to endure the market of life. I wondered if it could have a mind of its own, would it remember its life, how great or how horrible; happy or sad; fun or tiresome. Then, I noticed, the discussion had ended; it was over.
Wow... it took me a while to translate this. (It's from the first post by the way.) I guess I should brush up on my Latin. And I know a lot of this is probably wrong. I appologise.
I'm currently writing something of my own in Latin- but it's too long to post here. I'll start something new and post it here later.

Haha, this is funny!
I wish I could participate.
But I don't know a word of Latin. The only other language they teach in Canada is French. I'm pretty good at that, and a lot of the time translators make French to English text funny.
Gah! I wish I knew Latin. Maybe I'll write a random French story and translate it. Not as much fun on my own:D lol!

You were really close, the only different part is she was actually drawing a tree, not looking at one.Alicia wrote:I dropped the styrofoam dinner dish and ran. Cullentes lamiae sunt sed bonae quod sanguinem animalium solorum non hominum bibunt.
(The Cullens are vampires, but good vampires because they drink only the blood of animals, not of humans).

Etiam , sumo vegetarian vita est a valde laudatio res efficio parumper lamia quod EGO pomum Runco
(Yes, choosing the vegetarian life is a very commendable thing to do for a vampire and I applaud the Cullens)
So, I used the online translation site... but the same Cullen is not in the text I was given??? Hmmmm.......)
