I agree those little teeny boppers who go to watch the film and come out all, 'OMG! Edward is SOOOOOO fine! I like Jasper too!! OMFG!'
just irritate me. They think they know the characters, but we have been discussing them in detail since TW!

Talking about that, I'm going to be so utterly depressed when BD comes out, because it signals the ending of another GREAT series. That's why I need this withdrawal thread.

I admit it: I have a problem. a BIG one. I'm having trouble dealing with the fact that Stephenie's charcters are fictional.

At least these are everyone's issues.

Florida Anyone? Summertime! No for me, of course, but that's a different story.

Yep, know exactly what you mean. I read and re-read the books so many times since this past April when my best friend introduced me to the books that I am ashamed to say it. Let's just say I can honestly say I can count on two hands how many times. It's the only way to keep away the withdrawl symptoms! hahaha... Then end of May I found the Lexicon and now I have that to stave off the twilight shakes too!

Work is mercifully slow right now and I work night shift in my job so when the screen goes purple at work my peeps pick on me! But they should talk because three out of the four on my shift are going with me to the Barnes&Nobles Bookstore "Prom" Aug 1st!!!! In fact out of the 21 nurses in my unit 9 of us are going to the prom! But there are 13 of us total who have read or are reading the series now in my nursing unit. Three of us counting myself are the most absolutely insatiably insane.

Myself and my best friend are both Jennifers and because I am short, and brunette with an alice haircut I am Alice and she is blonde and pretty so she is Rosalie and we call each other that openly in my unit. Our other friend is very motherly and we call her Esme in front of everyone too and worst is we answer to the names if anyone calls us them! They all definitely think we've dived off the deep end and my husband routinely walks around with his fingers in the shape of an "L" on his forehead whenever i even utter one word!

I am so with you all the way! Twilight Sisters unite! We are so in the right place!

Except the lex... and the books...

And the characters...
Yeah my husband and I got into it about things in the house getting let go a little bit...like laundry...well who needs clean clothes right? So we had a small tift a couple weekends ago and so I pulled out "Twilight" and started re-reading it for like the 7th time right in front of him just to spite him! I was going to re-read the entire series anyway before "Breaking Dawn" comes out so it would be the absolutely freshest in my mind, but I got an early start! :D

I love my family, but when I am in Twilight mode as I have been for most of the last two months I can't break out of it. I only re-surface for sometimes just hours at a time....like meals and phone calls with friends (but unfortunately they're in the same frame of mind as me most of the time so that doesn't always count!), and caring for my 3 year old son.... poor guy might even whined up getting the books read to him at this point if I fall any deeper in the pit than I already am! I should get him one of those shirts off of Cafepress.com that says something like "Help! Feed me, my mom is reading Twilight again!"

I know what you mean, I am now always in twilight world. and when I have to re-surface for boring normal life stuff I feel so depressed, and then I need to get back on the lex to stop the withdrawals!

Amen Sister! Yep in fact my husband accuses me of being moody when he disturbs my rhythm and I get all ticked off that i have to stop reading , or get off the computer. When the internet was in its infancy several moons ago, I used to do something called BBS'ing which is exactly what we are doing here..posting messages on what's essentially an bulletin board system only now they're called forums and news groups. I met my husband that way through a mutual friend who owned his own system. Only back then you didn't do it over the internet. Back then 12 years ago... you actually dialed up someone's house and their system would answer the phone line and you'd post messages back and forth like we are doing here....hmmmm wonder if he's jealous?

im in deffinate need of support now, i foolishly gave my friend back the books!!!!!
so now i dont even have the comforting thought that the books are somewhere in the house, argh. at least i have the internet, strokes it lovingly :D Ooooo padded room purty :D

although my dog does have a toy called jasper (honestly i didnt name it, thats the name it came with) so to show you how much of a desperate mess heres a glimpse into our day

Good doggie, bring me jasper, thats a good girl, give (insert name) Jasper now, theres a good girl, bring me Jasper, then i sigh as i imagine Jasper and or edward dropping in through my non existant starlight and offering to take me away in the vanquish......hmmm, out of my mind back in 10 minutes, or second thoughts never!

yeah ive gone to the dark side.... and its sparkly! :D
