So these posts started to really make me NOT love Edward. But now as new things come out like the EW magazine, by the way I thought the cover was super DISGUSTING of Robert Pattinson, who I adore, but I thought it was hilarious the initials of the magazine are EW and the cover made me say, "EW." hahaha! Sorry, got off hand there. Any ways, now that new stuff is coming out, i.e. magazine cover, Penelope's special feature on Twilight, and the new quote of the day; I absolutely fell back in love with Edward. I think that man/vampire is the perfect guy. And when Bella is done with him, pass him my way honey!

I most definitely love Edward; I call him my babyyy. haha.
I think he's absolutely, unbelieveably amazing, with all of his imperfections, quirks, and protectiveness. Bella's one lucky girl, not because Edward is beautiful [though he is], but because [to me] Edward is the ideal man; he's not perfect, but that's essentially what makes him a "person."
"Do I dazzle you?"
"Frequently."

Thank you! I know, I saw the cover too and read the article online (I'm going to buy the actual thing today) and I was apalled! That is NOT how Twilight should be conveyed. Now I feel almost embarrassed by it! And then the pictures on the inside (online) were way off if you ask me. The article was good though, I'd just rather see better pictures.

I like Edward but not very much. I like Jacob more. He just seems so much better. I looked at his piont of veiw and I saw what he went throug and I felt like that was so sad and it botherd me that Jacob did not get enough credit.

I agree. If more men were like Edward, the world would be a happier place. =)

I agree. I know there are people out there who are really into the vampire scene, like being goth, wearing all black, and they are really into the ways of vampires sucking blood. But I'm a girl who shops at American Eagle, texts all the time, and gets good grades. I wasn't really into the "heavy vampire goth scene" but when I read Twilight, I was happy that it wasn't TOO vampire-y. This cover made me feel like it was WAY to vampire-y. None of the characters looked like they are put off in the book, I was disappointed.

Not really. then there would be alot more overprotective people. And very serious people. I just don't think the world would be better.

Yes! I'm like that too! I mean, I was too embarrassed to ask my mom to pick it up after work for me, in case she thought I was a) going goth (I am the opposite of goth. trust me.) or b) i was getting into a way too sexy or racy series. neither of those are true! so i was forced to go to the supermarket with my mom and head over to the magazine section and then run off to buy it (i even used self-check out to avoid the judging eyes of the cashier) and then hid it in my bag before going up to my room to read it alone. I'm still completely bewildered why they chose that cover. It's so wrong.
On a different note, do any of you guys have the following problem: when you're trying to get someone into the series, and they ask "what's it about?" and you have NO idea what to say, because usually whenever people hear the word "vampires" they automatically shrink back. I think it's rather funny :D But then I always convince them it's not what they think and they end up loving it!
