Edward will always love Bella and it won't matter if she's a human or a vampire, that love for her won't waver.
I don't think the human touch will be lost from the series when and if Bella is changed. First of all, it will take a while before her thinking transitions completely away from being human so we'll be seeing that. Plus, the Cullens themsleves are very human-like for vampires and since she will be past of the family she will also have that sort of feeling of being almost human.

I don't think it could because they are other humans in the book.
Like a lot of people have said, we'll still human reactions to the vampires, probably from Charlie in particular.
I think as long as that remains, the human element will always be there and give the book some reality.

I realllllllly hope Bella turns into a vampire. I think I would die of happiness. But I have a feeling that its going to be put off for complicated reasons or that it will happen but then there will be a million more troubles for Bella. I think Stephenie Meyer is a really talented writer, I think she can definitely write a book as great as the rest of the series with Bella being a vampire.

I don't think that the book would lose it's "human edge" at all. I mean, the Cullens are practically human and I don't see why Bella would be any different. Besides, the conflict of the first book was human girl falls in love with non-human vampire, but that's not really the entire conflict anymore; now it's human girl wants to be non-human vampire. I think that Bella will still think the same way when she's a vampire. And the relationship between Bella and Edward will still be as strong as ever, regardless of who's human and who's not.

no i really really doubt it will.
it'll still be a fantastic book because Edward will be in it <3

I think he will still care for her, even without her blood. I think its a bit like meeting someone very beautiful. You might be initally interested because of that, but once you get to know them and are in love with them, you'd stay in love even if they lost their beauty. If it's really love, that is...but Bella and Edward are really in love.

Honestly, I don't think it will. Not completely, any how. The good vampires (ie the Cullens) talk about holding onto humanity and all that good stuff. Sure it'll be really different for Bella, but I'm sure she'll be able to hold onto some parts of humanity.

if bella is changed, i dont think the book will lose its human edge. after all, there still are other characters that are human.
human edge of twilight

well even though we are very sure that bella will turn into a vampire the edge won't be gone because she was a human for three of the books and we were with her for all the human experiences that she had with falling in love with a vampire and now we are going to be with her for all of the vampire experiences and that is going to be the best part!!!!! so don't get down!!

I don't think it will loose it's edge. Because we still don't KNOW that Bella will be cahnged for certain. I think it will be more of a relief for me if Bella becomes a vampire, because I feel for her, always having to be careful about what she does around Edward so she doesn't send him over the edge. And I'll be relived for Edward too.
And sure, Edward was drawn to Bella because of her blood, but that's not why he loves her. Her blood made him hate her at the beginning, if you'll recall. He loves her for her, which is what draws a lot of girls to him. He loves her, and he doesn't care if her hair is sticking all over the place when she wakes up, or if her breath smells bad. He just loves her becuase she is simply Bella.
