Edward can't be around Bella when she's bleeding without being in intense temptation'"to the point of pain.
I do not equate the desire to drink from Bella and being in love with Bella as the same thing. I took the above from the PC and with Edward commenting on her smelling the same as always when she found him in Italy...he thought he was in hell...to mean that it is truely a painful experince to deny such a blood lust. It is his love of her that keeps him from satisifing that inner demon.
This is what I was tring to say...I wasn't attempting to argue the point of her being turned or not...just to say that it isn't her blood that he's in love with.
Maybe not, but I think it's part of the attraction, even if it causes him pain (besides which, the PC says it's "when [Bella]'s bleeding", which I don't think is all the time, clumsy as she may be, that Edward feels pain; I'm thinking that it's quite not so painfully acute otherwise). And, while I love that Stephenie answers questions and provides a lot of extras, if it's not in the text...

yes the series might lose its human edge after bellas changed (still crossing fingers) but that would bring even more drama to the story because edward can be closer with bella when/if shes changed. I think it would make the story more interesting. And like somone said before Edward loves bella. Her blood isn't the only thing he loves.

I think it will lose its human edge but it will be more interesting. I am so curious about what bella will act like whan she becomes a vampire.

Yea, the human edge might be gone but then theres all the adventours of being a vampire.

didnt stephenie say that once edward and bellas story is told, the series wont be over? it will just move over to another "narrerator" or however you spell it : )

If Stephenie does it right (which she will!) the story will still be interesting, whether Bella is a vampire or not. It might lose a little of it's edge because she isn't human, but it will be just as suspensful and amazing. I'm actually sort of annoyed that she hasn't been turned yet. I have never doubted Edward and Bella's love for each other, so it's just plain aggrivating that she isn't changed. But that's just me...

I completely agree. The tale will continue until Stephenie decides to kill all the fangirls. Which she hopefully won't anytime soon. She would rather kill us off one at a time from the suspence of waiting for the next book.
Human or not, Bella is accident-prone and that will give her the edge of relating with us even after she is transformed.

Yeah same here! I fear if she becomes a vampire their relationship will get boring D=

I don't think that it will get boring at all, if anything I think it will be more interesting he still wont be able to read her mind and there love is so strong and they still have obstivles to over come to make everything exciting i'm sure Stephenie has some suprises up her sleve for us she won't want Edward and Bella to become plain and dull characters that we would lose interest in.

It could, but Stephenie will be able to pull it off, because she's the greatest author ever.
