I swear i'll never be happy. ::stalks the night for an unsuspecting vampire:: lol But really.. maybe he doesn't have to look the part but he should be able to act the part. I'd love a boyfriend to be super overprotective of me.. ^^ lol
so you'd like a boyfriend who has such a low opinion of you that he thinks you can't manage to take care of yourself without him there?

How sweet.

what is "true love", exactly?

I think you have an extremely childish view of what love is. I'm curious if you've ever been in a very serious relationship, because I get the impression that you're not aware of the realities involved.

Why do all great guys have to be either fictional or gay?
I read this and almost spit dr. pepper out my nose. Lol.

This is a question that I'm sure all females ponder on a regular basis. I think it's because the female writers KNOW what they want in a man so in their books that's what they make. their "dream" man.
And by "dream" man, you mean Edward.

i think edward is every girl's dream man. :D

but seriously, even though i have a boyfriend, he's no edward. if edward were real, i'd much rather have him. :P

i agree with someone's post here about how they appreciate their human boyfriend better when he has a quirk edward has. i find myself doing that too, like the fact that my boyfriend also has a special crooked smile. :D
No. He's not mine.

He makes me sick.

After reading Twilight, my mom and I have come to a conclusion that All guys suck now that we know Edward.

I think there should be a mandatory reading of Twilight for all males in the world. Or an Edward tutorial. Or a "How to be like Edward for Dummies" book or something. I think you all get my drift. :D

If I found a romantic interest who thought Edward was a good model for a boyfriend, I'd back away slowly and consider getting him mental help.

...Why would I be talking to such a creepy guy in the first place? It would obviously be can-o'-mace time.

Personally, I'd prefer a relationship like Alice+Jasper than Bella+Edward anyday

just me, but Alice and Jasper's relationship is so deep a multi- dimensional!

Bella is always relying on Edward, but if I wre Alice, I wouldn't need anyone
and its deeper than , oooh, he's/she's soooo hot and romantic, so much more intimate, yet so much more relaxed and simpler in an absolute kind of way. Like, it so complex beneath, but the way they regard each other is so SIMPLY perfect.

I'll definately agree with the sentiment that independence/not relying on the romantic partenr for everything in life is sure as heck more attractive than the alternative.

i'm in agreeance with bkl, i'd like a relationship like Jasper and Alice. they love each other deeply, mostly on an emotional basis. it's not too physical like Rosalie and Emmett, neither is is too dependant like edward and bella.
