It's cool that they don't need to follow the way of the world, they have each other, and that is official enough for them.
They don't show off how much they love each other in public, sometimes you even forget they are together.
But they don't, and that's what is important.
Actually, they do share a room; it's just called Alice's room because she took over. And they are married, but they've only ever had one ceremony, unlike Rose and Emmett.
This couple is equal in my devotion as Edward and Bella. Maybe that's because I love Jasper as much as I love Edward, but... I don't know. They're just so deep. I have a feeling that they each have sides that they only show to each other, especially Jasper. They just seemed to know each other inside and out. One part that really touched me was when Alice and Bella were flying to Italy, and Alice was talking to Jasper on the phone. You could practically FEEL his worry, even though you had no idea what he was really talking about. And the fact that Alice knew that her life was in danger, but DIDN'T tell him... Well, it shows that she'll do anything to spare him from pain. Just like he did in Eclipse, protecting her during the fight. One of the reasons why I love Eclipse so much is the Alice/Jasper moments. The practice fight, his storytelling, at the party... One thing I have to note is this: I think that he's probably REALLY whipped, which is something you don't expect from a guy like him. Jasper's all tough, former fighter... He was practically a vampire warlord in his day! But then I think of what his room must be like... Or rather, Alice's room. It's probably covered with everything she likes, very feminine. And he just let her. That's true male devotion for you, everyone.

I'd like to say that my username is sarcastic, but that would be a mild lie. Mild, but a lie.
