Alice and Jasper

I think their paring is, not weird, but not expected. Like, if they were normal humans in a normal high school setting a wouldnt expect them to end up together. But the way Alice saw Jasper and how Jasper would do just about anything for her. It shows they were "meant to be."

The more I get to know each of these charaters the more I'm left to wonder how they all hooked up. ALice was the one charater I thought I really understood by the end of Twilight, where as Jasper was a total blank to me. Now that I "know" Jasper, I'm left to wonder why he and Alice as so perfect for each other. I see Alice as so much more gentle than Jasper. Oh I wish I was in Stephenie's brain some times!

Yea those are my thoughts too. To me they seem like total opposites (going only on the info from the book and lexicon) but I do suppose opposites attract.

And I think youd get lost in her brain...or meet some other weird fate. No offense to her of course!

well opposites do attract. in the book it said that jasper was always depressed, harly smiled and came from a 'different' kind of family. and alice...well she is alice...always there and always so cheerful, which is why i think she is great for jasper. she sees him differently than others and while reading i thought that he was always softer whenever he is with her. while he may only see the bad things, alice is alwyas there to cheer him up and to point out all the positives. i hope all that made sence

I honestly didn't figure out that Alice and Jasper were a couple. For some reason, it just didn't click. Thanks so much Alphie, the Lexicon gave me the info on what's what. I adore Alice.

Yea same here, I didn't actually figure out they were a couple until my friend told me. But then I was talking to some of my other friends and they thought the same thing they weren't sure. I officially found out they were a couple when I emailed Stephenie about it.
I think Jasper and Alice are great together. They are very differen t and I agree with Alphie, I can't figure out why they are 'so' great together. No there is no doubting they are cute. When I got the email from Stephenie, she told me that their relationship becomes more noticable in later novels. So bring on New Moon and Eclipse!!

It wasn't until I started reading fanfiction, actually it was Alphie's The Lion and the Lamb, that I found out they were a couple. My initial reaction to that was "So, wait, everybody in that house is hooked up?" It took me awhile to get used to the idea, since their behavior in the book didn't give them away as much more than close friends. I like Alice, so I'm sure the relationship is cool, but Jasper needs to be filled out more for me.

Yea I agree there weren't that many clues about them being a couple. The one that gave it away sort of for me was the part where Alice has that vision about Bella right as they're about to go to the airport and Jasper comes to her and she puts her head in his chest. I must be honest, I don't know if I would really do that to a guy friend...

I think that equal out eachother, I know that if i was dating someone just like me i'd go crazy, i can't stand my self soem times. I think Jasper keeps her grounded to what she is and i think Alice keeps him from dewling in it too much. Also i think the only reason he lives the life they do is for her, and Alice knows that.
