I don't know any guys nearly as great as any of the characters... I know one guy who saw his gf (one of my best friends) reading it last year so he tried to impress her by attempting to read it. He got halfway through and told us how he thought it was so horrible sappy and disgustingly romantic- he called it, "crappy, gooey romance" and said that it needed more action. (he didn't even make it to the heart of the book where all of the conflicts started to REALLY grow) He wasn't rude about it, though. But still, it hurt us all to hear that he couldn't appreciate it (and only 2 or three of us had even read the book) ug- the memory makes me sad!

awww That sounds horrible!Lost Cullen wrote:sometimes you care for someone so much that no matter if they choose someone else, you have to smile and realize that it was for the best. even if it kills you inside.Bella~Marie wrote:"And i actually know a girl who would, but as painfull as it is, i admit, it was the best choice of her life."
I don't understand. Can you explain?
........I sympathize more with Edward than you think.
Hi! My name is Alyssa but my friends call me Bella...yeah it's that bad :)
Team Switzerland!!!!! How can you choose one perfect guy over the other??
Don't you DARE try to tell me that Edward isn't real. Ask my friends what happened to them when they tried that...haha not good

I think Twilight is attracting to girls because it's based around such a deep and intimate love story, that us girls are just initially drawn to.
But I also believe Twilight is as much a guy book as it is a girl book; it's not limited to one gender.
There's lots of battles for the guys!
And Edward provides so much romance for us girls.
Twilight is pretty gender balanced, to me, anyway.

Actually, thanks!
I didn't want to sound like I was saying that only guys like battles, and only girls like romance, so I'm glad atleast someone knew where I was going with that. xD
