I don't know exactly when I read it, but all I know is I read it after the trailer came out. My friend wanted me to read it, but all I kept saying was "Why in the world do vampires fly?" (cause it looks like they are flying in the trailer.

But then I read it, and hooked instantly. :)

Oh, and I don't know how original Twilight readers do it.
I want to tear my hair out, waiting for BD to come out. AH!

i read Twilight in early 2006, waited desperately for New Moon. read that the second it came out, and was begging for Eclipse. when they released the first chapter, i ran to my bookstore and read it. i wasnt impressed, so i stopped looking forward to it coming out. eventually, it came and i was at band camp that day and skipped to go get it. i HATED it the first time, but i've grown to love it.

so basically, i've been a twilighter since the near beginning. thanks goes to my sister for forcing me to read it. at first i was like, "ewww vampires? seriously?" but then i fell in love.

it irks me that people whine about waiting for breaking dawn. uhh i've had to wait for NM, EC, and now BD is finally coming out.

this girl in my grade read the series in about two weeks (slow, i know) and came to school to complain about waiting a few months. i quickly schooled her on what it really means to wait lol.

Much to my sister's dismay she got me started reading Twilight in October 2007. I had already read through Eragon and Eldest (which are really fat books by the way) in like a week, so I really needed something new to read. She kind of forced me to read Twilight, and so I did... in less than 24 hours. So I just had to read New Moon... again in less than 24 hours. Well, she had gotten Eclipse like a month before, so I went on to Eclipse and read in, yep, less than 24 hours.

Well, I wanted the next one in the series; she told me that is wasn't due until next Fall. NOOO!!!! It couldn't be! (Conveniently, the last book in the series of Eragon also comes out this Fall. How frustrating two books which are the last in their series, and I have to wait a year for the next one.) So I had to keep my obsession going, so I kept taking her books to re-read them over and over again. She got sick of that so I had to get the books from the library.

Luckily, for Christmas she bought me the boxed set (too bad it didn't have special edition Eclipse in it :( ), which I have loved ever since. She can't understand the obsession I have, and makes fun of me when she sees my books out on my bed.

Sorry that was really long and probably boring.
Staring into his eyes always made me feel extraordinary-- sort of like my bones were turning spongy. I was also a little lightheaded, but that could have been because I'd forgotten to keep breathing. Again.

I read Twilight for the first time in February 08. About six friends had tried to force me to read it, but I said "Vampires? I don't do vampires." Then, after school one day, I had rehearsal 'til eleven that night, and no homework, so I stole it from a friend just to have something to do (I will eventually read anything). I read it that night, read New Moon the next day after borrowing it from a neighbor's sister, and then, on the third day, I saw a girl in the hall whom I didn't even know with Eclipse, and I got her to lend it to me for the night. That weekend, I went out and bought all three. Soon I got all of my friends to read them too. However, I would say to be careful who you lend your Twilight series to. I haven't seen my copy of Twilight since three days after I bought it: My teacher read it, then two of my friends, then my friends mom, and now someone's GRANDMOTHER is reading it. I read everything a thousand and two times, so I am literally dying to have it back. And I won't get it back until after Breaking Dawn. =(

So be happy!
you get it before us!
haha.
Lol not me! I only get Breaking Dawn 6 days after!! :x Cos I'm in Germany till August 6th, so when I get home, itll be August 7th, i think... :x If my mum remembers to pre-order it, of course *coughmomcough*. There's Renee for ya (my mums almost her double half, just not as helpless...sometimes its funny though...) If you can still pre-order it at all! so, yeah, I'm going to have to shut down my computer while you guys all talk about it on the Lex! *scowls*
and my friends have BD parties, and will have read it, etc.

I feel so neglected! :(

So yeah...I got Twilight in summer of 07, I think...in any case, I got to read New Moon almost right after, and it was about 5 weeks later that i got to read Eclipse...if I remember right. Waiting a year till Breaking Dawn... I'm literally going crazy! at least those of you who have had to wait before have had pratice

For me, it was a very easy wait. I bought Twilight and New Moon around a year ago. I read both in the space of 4 days, and, when I wanted to get Eclipse, luckily for me, the day I finished New Moon was either the day, or the day after Eclipse came out. So I barely had to wait at all, until now, for Breaking Dawn. ANd the wait is almost over!!

I didn't have to wait at all for Twilight and New Moon-my sister talked me into reading them during out 3 week long vacation last summer. I wasn't as obsessed with them last summer as I am these past few months. hehe. then Eclipse came out the day we got back from vacation so I didn't have to wait really for that one either. But Breaking Dawn..it's killing me!!!

Waiting for Breaking Dawn isn't killing me. Waiting ten years for HP book 7...pain. But I'm actually kind of enjoying the BD wait. All the rumors and speculation...it's a lot of fun. And it's so close. I probably won't be saying this two days prior to the release... (JUST GIVE ME THE BOOK!) I'm afraid I won't be able to finish it, though. I'm going @ midnight to get the book, but I have a class to train my dog (He's a therapy pet) @ 10 AM! I think I'll be able to do it though...I hope.
