I was introduced to Twilight at the end of March. I read it in ONE night - stayed up until 3am reading because it was SO good. (I paid for it that morning when my two little ones demanded my energy. )
I read New Moon about 3 weeks after Twilight - in April. It took me a few days to read this one because I was so depressed that Edward was gone that I had to keep putting it down and coming back to it.
So, I had to wait about 3 1/2 months for Eclipse. In the meantime I reread the series about 50 million times.
I am going to DIE waiting for Breaking Dawn! Patience is NOT one of my finer qualities.

I totally agree. I started the series right when it cam out and i hate waiting a year. The worst thing is now we have to wait for the book and the movie
I read Twilight for the first time in October 2006 and I had to wait six months or so until it was published in Spain, in 14th February. And I had to wait another six months for Eclipse. And now, a year until Breaking Dawn! I don't know how I will handle this!
"Unfortunately, the clock is ticking, the hours are going by. The past increases, the future recedes. Possibilities decreasing, regrets mounting."
I'd seen it on the top-sellers for teens on barnesandnoble.com for a long time, but when I saw that it was a vampire love story in the summary, I'd thought "Not for me" for a long time. Then I finally decided to give it a try and put it on my wish-list for Christmas and got it then. I was obsessed after that, and ordered New Moon right after finishing it. Then I had about 7 months to wait for Eclipse.
I kind of hope I find a new obsession soon, and that I can sort of focus on that for awhile. Because it will be probably over a year before we get Breaking Dawn, and otherwise I am going to go insane waiting. I'll have school/work/college applications coming up very soon to focus on, so that will be good for me.
This is what I hate most about series! I've been reading Twilight for a while now. I had to wait for New Moon, then Eclipse, and now Breaking Dawn. It's just like Harry Potter all over again, I HATE WAITING!
I started reading Twilight in early June (this year) and finished it in two days. After that I ran to the bookshop and purchased New Moon and almost raced through it. So I had to wait for about two months, which isn't that long in comparison to those who read New Moon immediately after it had been published. But still... I had a hard time and now I can't wait for Breaking Dawn to be published... Over a year... oh my god! It's going to be tough
I bought Twilight December 2006, but didn't read it till the beginning of January. After that I was extremely addicted and had to wait a week to get New Moon, because I couldn't get to the book store sooner. I was very obsessed for a few months, but then Harry Potter fever replaced it, and it was only in the back of my mind. I got Eclipse the morning it was released, but I wasn't crazy excited, because I hadn't given it much though, aside from it's release date. This time around I know I'll be "totally jazzed" for Breaking Dawn.
I read Twilight March 2006, and joined the Lex in October of that same year. So I had to wait for New Moon for 5 months, and didn't even have the Lex to quell some of the anxiousness. So I'm about at a year and a half in the Twilight fandom.

'I love you, Jacob,' I whispered brokenly."</center>
i got twilight in a book order of January of 2007. I read new moon in two days, and then looked at all of the posts made on here ever since. i really wanted to post something, but i didn't want to go through the whole thing of signing up, but once the eclipse quotes came, i couldn't take it anymore, so I signed up.

I stumbled upon Twilight at a book store in either summer or fall of 2005. I read it in about a week. Then I preordered New Moon and read it in 2 days, which kind of ruined it because I sort of speed-read. I got Eclipse about two weeks ago and I'm pacing myself.. I have 3 chapters to go and I'll probably finish it tonight.
It kind of surprised me that it's become so popular. Everyone at my school is like OMG TWILIGHT like 2 years after it's release, I'm like HEY, I READ IT FIRST
