How long did you wait?

I got Twilight in July of 2006 and ordered New Moon from Barnes and Noble in August. I read Twilight in 9 hours the day I got it and read New Moon in about 9 1/2 hours. So the wait for Eclipse is practically eating me alive.

I borrowed Twilight about the end of May 2007 from my friend. I read it in one day and rushed to Barnes & Noble the day after. Like most of you I have been counting down the release of Eclipse for a couple months now and it's killing me! I can only imagine how the people felt having to wait for New Moon since they read Twilight right when it came out. I would like to pre-order Eclipse, but my obsession with the series gets on my mom's nerves therefore I can't ask her with out getting yelled at.

xKITxKATxBARx, I can understand your dilemma with your mom being sick of hearing about Eclipse. My husband is on his last nerve. Every day I update him on the countdown to the release date. And every day he rolls his eyes. It's so sad that they can't share in the Twilight obsession. Either way, I'm going NUTS just waiting for it to come out.
I read Twilight for the first time in February, and went out the next day and bought New Moon. So, I've had it easy. Waiting for the fourth book will be a real killer though.

Damn, I didn't think about that! ARGH I have to go get myself my own copies of TW & NM! But at least I've already pre-ordered Eclipse. *grins smugly, then realises everyone else has probably done it waaaaaaaaaay before her*LisaCullenAZ wrote:And of course I've read both books over and over again in the meantime to keep myself in-the-loop.

I picked up Twilight at my school bookfair in Novermber of 06. I started reading it soon afterwards and then found out that there was a second book and begged my mom to get it for me. She got it for me for christmas and I was done with in in 3 days. So I have been waiting since December for Eclipse.

I read Twilight in May of this year .The craze of it didn't start around here till march of this year but I didn't pay any attention to what book people who don't normally read and are all of a sudden obsessing over a book. I think I'd read it 3 times from the library and was waiting for New Moon to come in on order when I was talking about it with a friend of mine who'd read it about a month before me but didn't tell me about it (you can bet she got yelled at it for that) when another of my friends said "Have you read New Moon yet?" and when I told her I had it on hold for as soon as the library had it she smiled at me and said " You can borrow my coppy if you want" So of course I borrowed her coppy of it...and then I went out and bought my own coppies of both books, and I read them till Eclipse came out..I was the first one in my city to get it too. Then I went home and read it only putting it down 4 times...a bathroom trip, dinner, and two tynols because my eyes were hurting. It took me twelve hours to read it since I'm sadly an extremely slow reader especailly when I'm trying not to rush through it, but it was worth the wait and it wasn't as long as probably some other peoples wait.
