I don't want to undermine all fanfictions, but some of it... My Goodness, how do you come up with that and still call it Twilight? It's more like insanity. I don't mind if its a little out of character, but some of the things people have written have blown me away.
Yeah a bit out of character ok, but like sometimes I wonder if they know the same Bella we read. Like sometimes, I just want to ask what book they were reading and if they just misread the tiitle.
Not just bella... edward seems pretty twisted in most of them.
I feel bad for real twilight edward, he is sooo misunderstood in the fanfictions....so misunderstood. I think I read ONE reeeaaallyy good Edward POV fanfiction. I mean we don't know his POV, but I reading the book a million times you can tell what is real edward and people who have gone crazy edward

Agreed. Most fanfiction writers make Edward really outgoing and perverted.

I always want to flame the stories with the plot "Edward was the most popular girl in school and a player. Bella was the bookish cheerleader with all of the self confidence."

AND I always wonder how those stories can get so many reviews... It isn't fair because there's so many other good stories out there that people don't read. They read the stupid ones.

That's why I'm so impatient to read Midnight Sun. I don't think most peopple grasp how seriously depressed and disgusted with himself Edward is in Twilight.

Exactly, a lot of people have been overanlyzing the quotes (myself included). We all need to take a step back and realize that Steph wants us to be misleaded because its more fun that way.

I'm probably going to break down in a chorus of laughter every time we read these quotes, thinking about what they really meant as compared to the crazy senarios we thought of.
Same here. I keep telling myself, "it's probably not what you think". I'm going crazy trying to figure it out. I bet Stephenie is enjoying herself quite a lot, watching us fans suffer :P

Today's quote made me lol so much. Honestly, I don't think its anything serious (Curse Stephanie's wickedness...), just friendly banter. Probably at the wedding, though I admit, it would be fun to see a jealous Bella!

Yeah, I agree. Actually, it wasn't until I started seeing some previes of Rob's performances (ironically) that I started to think about how hard it must be for Edward, and how much he hates himself.

One time I was a story called "twila, the girl who fell in luv wif a vampire" and the author couldn't write, and the one sntence had five cuss words in it. It was in chatspeak and the plot sucked.

I can never get past the first chapter in those... I usually have to puke after reading the first 500 words. Maybe I'd be more accepting, but the characters are so Mary-Sueish and undeveloped as well. The characters don't have flaws.
