Exactly, a lot of people have been overanlyzing the quotes (myself included). We all need to take a step back and realize that Steph wants us to be misleaded because its more fun that way.

I'm probably going to break down in a chorus of laughter every time we read these quotes, thinking about what they really meant as compared to the crazy senarios we thought of.
Same here. I keep telling myself, "it's probably not what you think". I'm going crazy trying to figure it out. I bet Stephenie is enjoying herself quite a lot, watching us fans suffer :P
i think that everyone is making a huge deal over this. I think were all over thinking this. (no offence meant to anyone)

That's why I'm so impatient to read Midnight Sun. I don't think most peopple grasp how seriously depressed and disgusted with himself Edward is in Twilight.
THANK YOU! I think some people just see the "perfect" edward and I mean he is amazing and stuff, but he is sooooo much deeper than what you see on the "outside" and I think that's part of the reason I like him and stick up for him... especially when it comes to fanfics

But what else do we have to obsess over? We haven't had real movie news in weeks, and time is going by much more slowly just because we want August 2nd to be here.

I'm too obsessed. I just get frustrated when there's a lack of news to obsess over.

i agree, I mean I have said this somewhere before, I don't usually believe in overanalyzing, but you can't help but have sooo much fun with it!

it's like you know it isn't true, but it's like you can't stop...

Oh no, Oh no, Oh no.... The Tanya quote is freaking me out. And not for the reason you'd expect. It's not Edward I'm worried about, but rather Seth. Let me explain...

Okay, first off, i think this quote is from the wedding. It would seem logical that Alice would invite Tanya and the rest of the Denali clan, seeing as they are "practically family." The quote sounds almost like small talk, a greeting at the reception.

One problem with the Denali coming to the wedding: Seth will be there as well. Seth. The youngest of the werewolves. Alone. Of course the Denali clan still has their hatred of the werewolves for killing Laurent. I don't think they would miss the chance to attack one of the werewolves and seek a little vengence

Alice won't see any of this coming because a werewolf is involved. And with all of the other wedding preparations, it seems like something that could be forgotten or overlooked.

So, I think the Denali clan are going to fight with Seth during the wedding reception. This would reveal the presence of vampires to the humans, and thus would provoke the Volturi, and they would get involved.

Well, Gran, you might have noticed that my boyfriend glitters. It's just something he does in the sun. Don't worry about it..."

I've only read one good Edward POV fanfic and Alphie wrote it. Even SM said herself that Alphie's version was much lighter than her own. I almost want to watch the silly, superficial fangirls when they read Midnight Sun and realize that Edward isn't as perfect as they thought he was. And most of all, Bella doesn't realize how much Edward loathed himself either. Bella's picture of Edward being perfect is where everything came from. Bella needs a reality check... Edward isn't perfect (but we still love him. =)

wow i didnt even really think about that...
but you know, since alice and the rest of the gang know that the denali clan especially tanya have issues with the werewolves, dont you think they would be smart enough to not invite them?

I don't think that Seth will be the only werewolf at the wedding. I bet that those like Quil, Embry, and Jared will be there. Maybe even Sam since Carlisle and he respect each other so much. Plus they can use it to push Jacob to come back, since Jacob won't be able to fight it anymore since they're married.
