actually, i think bella quit her job because thats why she wasn't going to do it during the summer, so they had to train katie marshall or something like that.

I'm about 90% sure it's sarcasm. Bella's sarcastic 75% of the book anyway. And I can't see her saying this to anyone seriously..much less Mike Newton.

Wow.. i didnt think of that. SM said that these were purposely misleading and that she had a twisted sense of humor... UGH! yes I would hope that its sarcasm, because if she truely said that to mike and ment it, wow, it would be really werid. But if there is a twisted sense of humor, than she wouldn't say that to mike and mean it.
