haha, i remember she tried sarcasm with him in Twilight, but he didn't catch on...

It'd definitely Bella as human, unless her special ability is to have humane traits and she can talk to Mike. Perhaps, she wants to be with Edward forever and is saying goodbye. Or maybe Edward (or someone like that) said something along the lines of "You should talk to Mike about (insert something dramatic here)" and Bella acted as though she was talking to Mike, and explaining what would she said. Or in her Single Party, Mike stalks Bella and he says something along the lines of "What would you do without me?" and she said this. And she may be full of morphine? Or maybe... she is being sarcastic about somehing?
