I'm not sure Jacob could fall in love naturally again. He seemed so changed by Bella... I would love for him to move past it normally, but he ran away to CANADA when he got the invite. It's going to take him some time to move on. I have no problem with him imprinting, but I think that would hurt him even more, knowing that there is someone in the world that he loved more than Bella.
Jake eventually morphs back into a human form. And he meets a girl. Sort of like Jake did to Bella, this girl helps him heal. And Jake falls in love with her, just like Bella fell in love with Jake. And this hypothetical girl is not in love with a vampire, or anyone else, and Jake is able to move on from Bella and start a new life with this girl.
It's a little far fetched. Especially if you consider the fact that Stephenie will probably not introduce someone new, Jake would have to fall in love with/imprint on someone we've already heard of.

I LIKE THIS IDEA ALTHOUGH EDWARD COMPLETES MY LIFE IT WOULD BE NICE FOR JACOB TO HAVE SOMEONE 2 HE DESERVES IT

Your post contradicts itself. You want him not to fall in love, but he deserves to fall in love.
Crazy_and_Proud wrote:Personally I think that Jacob will either imprint or not fall in love as depressing as that sounds...I think that Jacob has been through so much pain and suffering due to love he deserves to fall in love and I think that SM agrees because she loves Jacob! I mean who wants to see Jacob leave never come back and die alone and unhappy? (besides Edward) But falling in love naturally would cause to much pain if he imprinted later in life.
But he doesnt plan to imprint (Im just saying, not like it makes a difference), so thats not a reason he wouldnt fall in love. Even when a girl finds out about that possibility, they will most likely be like Bella & not even care.
Imprinting is rare.
Imprinting isnt guaranteed happiness. Sam isnt completely happy. He loves Leah (not in the same way any more) & feels so bad about what he did to her & will never forgive himself.
I dont see imprinting as a happy ending.

I totally agree. Jacob imprinting is NOT a happy ending. Right now Jacob is hurt and extremely depressed. His heart is broken and imprinting will only cause that wound to deepen. Jacob isn't ready to fall in love again or imprint. He needs time for his heart to heal.
And for those who think Jacob and Leah will end up together I strongly disagree. I think the two would make great friends so that they could support each other and help each other heal since they are basically going through the same thing. But I haven't seen anything so far that hints or signals that the two will end up together.

I think that really, they are the only ones for each other.
Do you think there is anyone stronger for Jacob or Leah? (Physically, emotionally, mentally)
Do you think that anyone else could handle all the secrets they bear?
Its not so much to help each of them heal because Jacob doesnt like Leah when she's hurt & vice versa. They dont put up with that kind of crap.

I guess thats true. I never really thought about the secrets. I really hope that we see a new side of Leah in Breaking Dawn though, because so far we only see the mean side of her. I understand how hurt she is but she is so mean to Jacob in the epilogue. Maybe if they fall in love with each other Leah will become happier. I just want Jacob to end up with someone nice.

None of the pack is very nice to Leah. They think mean things about her & yeah, they cant help but let her hear them, its got to be awful for her. All the mean things that you dont want to hear, running through your head & everything that's happened to you is right in front of you.

Yeah...I mean I feel kind of bad for Leah but I don't want her to end up with Jacob

Yes, I want Jake to be happy. But I think that Jacob and Leah are going through pretty much the same thing...which isn't that encouraging, because Jake turning into an angry, bitter, resentful werewolf is not what I'm hoping for. But Bella had a choice, and she chose Edward, and I suspect that the fact that she had a choice made it worse for Jake. Sam didn't really have a choice in falling in love with Emily. It just happened. Meyer said, "She never would have pursued her friendship with Jacob if she had realized how much more than friendship it really was. You don't give up your friends when you fall in love; however, you do give up your other romantic interests. If Bella had understood herself better, she could have saved everyone a lot of heartbreak. Sometimes that happens when you try to do the right thing." Bella had a choice in falling in love with Jake, and it hurts Jake even more to know that she had a choice, and she chose Edward. I don't think he'll ever be able to fall in love naturally, because he is so attached to Bella. Hopefully he will imprint on someone who will understand his past, and about Bella. Poor Jake.

Am I the only one who has noticed that the topic has evidentally changed from:Will Jacob fall in love naturally? to Will Jacob fall in love with Leah? But that's fine with me.
I was skeptical at first about Jacob and Leah getting together because they don't seem to like each other at all. But after all they're going through similar problems (they both lost the people they loved to someone else) and a lot of couples have only feelings of resentment at first. I hope we get to see Leah's inner self in Breaking Dwn
