I'm no car expert (I'm only a bit better than Bella) but if the s60 is good enough for Edward, it is good enough for me. I love it simply because he has it.

Wow...

Wow...you guys are talking s80 and s40 ect. and my car distinguishing factor is "Big" and "small" And then after that it would be Truck, van, confertable, punch bug, limosine(sp?), Jeep . End list of distinguishable cars on my account (Although I am going to try and figure out what most volvo's look like so I can look for Edward inside). Seriously, thats about it. The rest to me just are called "cars". But I think that it will be Bella's truck with a new engine to make it go REALLY fast.
""But I am a werewolf," he said unwillingly . "And he is a vampire," he added with obvious revulsion.
"And I'm a Virgo!" I shouted, exasperated."

I don't know why, but i'm thinking a ford mustang convertible. It's fast, but she can control it better than a sports car. My money is still on the Audi, but the mustang sounds good too.

What's wrong with the mustang? It was just a suggestion that popped into my head. Or was it the camaro? Which car was in Transformers?

- untill you have driven the 2009 Corolla i have no respect for your opinion. it has as much pick-up as my old Lexus, and that was a v6. the Corolla is only a 2.4 litter, but it can move.

but i do agree with you on the mustang, those scream "desparate to get laid"
the Focus is more likely than the Mustang, and it's a better car than the Jetta, which the "twees" are willing to consider.
it would be cool if he go the Golf TDI and converted it to biodisel.
the Cullens live for ever, they will see climate change, and they really depend on fog.

i'm thinking normal looking car, that has surprising power.

lol!!! because we have sooooo much respect for your opinions right? oh, you make us laugh, little miss genius!!

for the billionth time, oh great and smart one, he is not going to buy her a toyota!! they don't even cost a fifth of what the S-Guard costs, so why would he buy her something like that? and how in the name of God do you know what we have driven and what we haven't? and for what little information on us you have, yes, both of us have in fact driven it

and many cars move, but if you were a super rich vampire would you buy the great car, or the it-moves-who-cares-if-its-ugly car?

(by the way, its called tweedledumb and tweedledumber)

SonR, I really think you're right about the climate change thing. I certainly don't think they'd get something absolutely horrible for the environment, and if they did, they would make some changes to it so that it is more fuel-efficient.

twees-

i didn't know that 5 year olds could drive...

i dont think that the price of the car is a factor. being more expensive doens't always mean something is better...
obviously Edward has an interest in trying to blend in, so he bought the totally average common volvo, i counted in saw 6 of them driving 2 miles to the freeway yesterday.

so i think that is' possible that he's bored with the volvo and will get Bella the new "average" car

and anywar, SM knows nothing about cars, she lets her brother pick them out

driving fast wastes alot of gas....
there is a Lexus hybrid

Maybe it is an average car that hasn't come out yet? Alice could look into the future and see what will eventually be average, and then they get one of those early (like they did with the Guardian).

It probably doesn't really go with what has been I just said up there, but aren't there cars that will be able to run on hydrogen? I know that the technology isn't quite right and it actually uses more energy to get the hydrogen (and creates more waste) but in theory it the actual car should be extremely environmentally-friendly. But if the Cullens fix up the technology and make it better like it could be in a few years....

Okay, I'm rambling. I'll stop talking about things I know nothing about now.
