Sorry for those of you who want all that detail, but there are some of us out there who do not want to read that and have trouble finding romance books that don't have that trash in it, so please let us have our refuge in Twilight!!!

I'm not sure where I heard this, but has anybody else heard that BD won't be YOUNG Adult? I heard that it will be classified as Adult because the topics are more mature. Now, I don't think it will be classified adult because of the honeymoon scene. As people have said, SM is LDS, and plus, Edward is such a innocent man from another time, that I think SM will give him his privacy. ;)

BUT: SM is very descriptive of everything else those two have been up to, so I am not entirely sure about how she'll get out of this one without compromising her writing style. My guess: they'll try, but they have to stop, because it's too dangerous. And, ahem, I couldn't imagine it working, I mean, he is made of marble, right... that would HURT.

OKay... on to happier thoughts..
Oh wow, this might sound weird but I never thought of the 'marble' thing before...ouch that would hurt...and be cold...

I hope that shows up in the book too. I have to say I hope that SM goes into the details (in a romanticly clouded type of way) at least some, cause we've all been waiting for it. And the only way any of us will know what it's like to have that human experience with a vampire (and I for one want to know) will be if she does write about it.
i know!!!! it makes all us sound like pervs but its too true! lol

LOL I don't think any of us are pervs....hehe. It' s so human to have an interest in sex. And I don't think any of us can hide our curiosity about how it would be due to Edward's physical differences. I know i have trouble imagining it....but I'm sure Edward would just chuckle at us all and our predictable human curiosity...hehe

Twilighter guy here. Not trying to sound too pervy, but on the subject matter of "skin like granite" issue...(not just the one appendage)...but as a whole...have y'all ever thought about what it really feels like? It's got to be somewhat pliable or he wouldn't be able to bend and move, right? I purposefully hugged a marble statue at the MET last month in NYC...(and gladly didn't get caught!)...just to see what it felt like. It's *NOT* comfortable!!!

never really imagined the whole marble thing bfore, tho it is def something to think about. then again i think i have always been a little caught up in the whole Edward thing, not just at how he would feel.

i may just have to go hug a marble statue now just to see. hhmmm wonder where i can find one round here?
Why, oh why? I got to wait until August 6th for Breaking Dawn :( Grrrrrrrrrr
But when I get it, it will be read even if i i have to stay up all night :)
Go Team Edward!!!!

Seriously, John, this is HILARIOUS. I died laughing when I read it! (I haven't been on the Lex all day, and this was the first thing I read.)

If you go to SM's website and go to the BD link, it talks about this being her first Adult novel, so I think she may go in to more detail then some people are thinking :)

I think it will be somewhere totaly unexpected! I dont know where exactly...but still.

But if I had to chose a random 'expected place'. Itd be Alaska. I can picture them in a little cabin in gorgeous Alaska. <3
Okay so we're starting an alternate lexicon to help keep us sane while its shut down. We're prolly going to close it as soon as the lex is back up. And we won't allow spoilers (=
It'd be really awesome if you guys could join and help spread the news! Its still in construction at the moment though!

The Host was her first Adult novel. And it says there that the company publishing it is "Little, Brown Books for Young Readers." As in, published for young adult. And adult novels aren't necessarily like porn, SM had to explain this when she said that Forever Dawn, the first sequel to Twilight, was adult so it didn't work. People thought it was like...I don't read that stuff so I don't know a comparison. But very bad. She had to explain that the themes were more mature, so it would be classified as adult. She said FD was as racy as Jane Eyre. The Host was as innocent as Eclipse in the sex area, yet it was "adult", so even if BD was adult, it wouldn't have all this heavy-duty steam people want. She's not going to go into deep detail. It'll probably just be they get to their honeymoon spot and then it's the next morning.

That's how it is in Romeo and Juliet, and we know she's been influenced previously by it.
