I purposefully hugged a marble statue at the MET last month in NYC...(and gladly didn't get caught!)...just to see what it felt like. It's *NOT* comfortable!!!

never really imagined the whole marble thing bfore, tho it is def something to think about. then again i think i have always been a little caught up in the whole Edward thing, not just at how he would feel.

i may just have to go hug a marble statue now just to see. hhmmm wonder where i can find one round here?

I don't think that Edward would take Bella to Alaska because he knows that she hates the cold and he would want to make her happy.

Also, I'm SOO very excited for the honeymoon scene.
I agree with everyone that said it should be secluded and WARM!
So Edward can be all sparkly and ahh...

Edward will definitly take her somewhere meaningful. I'm sort of hoping it's Phoenix, since it's the last time Bella will be able to enjoy the sun, and she always loved it. Not exactly going to some romantic castle in Europe, but it would be so much more thoughtful, which Edward is!

First Post! I'm a newbie... and pretty new to Twlight... i got addicted pretty much right after i started to read Twilight. Just 2 weeks ago. Three books in three days. I haven't read so fast or so much since Harry Potter came out. I don't know how you guys have survived so long! Thats some serious will power lol Anyway...

I think Edward will definitely take Bella to somewhere romantic but not too cliche'. The Chicago idea was good and yes as some people have mentioned... a bit sad for him. I think wherever he takes her it'll be warm, and sunny. Maybe a secluded island like others have suggested, so he can walk out into the sunlight and sparkle for her. When they're sitting on the beach, if she gets too warm she can just cuddle closer to Edward since he's always cold. It'll just cool her down enough. (I know that sounded kind of retarded) And during the night when she's sleeping if he needs to feed i guess he could always feed from sharks or other random animals lol. As for the SCENE.. i kind of hope that SM lets us in on a little but doesn't make it too graphic. I don't think we'll be disappointed though, she knows we're all waiting for this moment. I don't think bella will be changed during the honeymoon either. Edward will need the support of his family to get through it. No matter how much he loves her, it would be hard for him to resist the taste of her blood (assuming HE changes her). Anyway those are just MY thoughts!

Ok, I was watching this documentary on Prince William, and it mentioned that he took his gf to some secluded beach where no paparrazi can get to or take pictures. It's that secluded. It looked nice and that would be a great place for a honeymoon. Let me google it so ya'll can too. OMG, I WOULD definetly love it there!

I don't know...he might take her there I mean I even wrote a few post backs but after rereading twilight (again) remember the last time she was in Pheonix? She was almost killed, like a block from her house, and she probably doesn't have the best memories from there anymore. Including Edward, he had to see Bella almost dead before her eyes, watch a tape showing how he did the deed, almost kill her himself (but thankfully stop), and last but not least see her covered in plaster,gauze, tubes, and wires. I still think maybe his house in Chicago.

I would want it to be at the Chicago house too. I think Bella might like it that he took her to HIS house and it might make it more special for them. It's theirs, what's his is hers remember. That would be nice. Unless they use that house as a place where their going to change her. I still think its going to come in play somehow.

I love the Chicago idea, but I still don't think that it would hold the best memories for Edward. I mean, his whole family died, and he almost did, too (and he went through three days of pain there).

^ I thought he was changed at Carlisle's house? I'm pretty sure Esme would have redone the inside of it. Bella needs to see it either way, it's part hers now. And I'm pretty intrested to see how it's described too.
