Strongest ever

Hmmmm have to think about a theme song for our little indestructible unsinkable girl! Just call her Molly Brown!

Well I don't think that bella will be turned without a struggle. I think her whole change will be fraught with problems. I don't think she will have an easy change either. If she is changed in a traumatic way then she may not be able to be given pain relief as was previously suggested. Since the venom heals everything and makes the skin rock hard she may never get the chance for that morphine. Sigh.....

But change is never easy or so the saying goes.... so I am willing to bet that Bella will have a tough time with it even though it is being done by her choice.

Though you guys are talking about her conscious choice as possibly making her stronger...well no I don't think it'll make her stronger. I think what it will do is to better equip her to deal with the coming challenges she'll have to face as a newborn.

She has made an informed decision. She knows what she is getting herself into. She knows what the consequences are going to be for the most part. To knowledge so far none of the other vampires have ever had that chance to make a choice. She has the advantage there and the means to make this change a controlled situation rather than just being bitten and running off to deal with the horror of the change by herself or without any help or comfort.

This is part of what will make her very unique. She'll have more control over her senses after the change because she knows what to expect. This is why I am of the camp of thought that she won't lust for humans as much. that coupled with the fact that she can't stand the smell of human blood now as a human... that has got to have some role later in whether she'll kill humans or not....jasper and emmett are both going to lose their bets!

Even though the venom will make Bella's skin like rock, wouldn't she get the morphine before she was bitten? But I have a feeling that the morphine won't help anyway against vampire venom.

Personally, I hope Bella does have the same blood lust as the other vampires, despite her nausea for it now (I'm not sadistic, I promise). Because should we get to read about her newborn phase, I want to know how it was for everyone else. I don't want it to be easy for Bella, because nothing is! And since all of the books out are through human Bella's perspective, we only get a glance into how difficult it must be. Some people I know that have read the books just shrug off what the Cullens are doing, thinking it'd be like giving up chocolate. If we got into a newborn Bella's mind, there would be all this newfound respect for what they do. So I want there to be all of those struggles and lusts, and go through as Bella tames herself, with everyone else's help of course. I just think it'd be a better story also.

I think if they gave her enough morphine it would keep her unconsious for some of it, but I don't think they can give her enough to keep her unconsious for three days. Of course, because she is in the process of becoming a vampire (and cannot die) they can probably give her a little more than normal.

Yes, I want to know how it was for the others and not let people just pass off "vegetarianism" for the Cullens as an easy thing. If she does get off easy, though, I hope the others describe how it was for them, at least.

Okay, morphine you need to inject, right?

After those twelve hours, is there anything else that can be done? Any other strong opiates that can be administered orally? Codeine probably wouldn't be strong enough... but maybe in a large enough dose....

This is beyond me, medically. Both my parents are doctors, but I think they would think I was crazy if I asked them this kind of thing.

Alice's twin Sister is a nurse...

they have opium supositories that are used rectally....

they could put an IV in her arm that gave a constant morphine feed.
anything oral has to be disegested...

Hey, loved enjoyed your webshow... for the few minutes I was there! I was the one who told you I think it's 768 pages.

From Twilighters :"The Canadian bookstore Chapters has Breaking Dawn listed as being 768 pages long on its pre-order page. You can see for yourself here.

Keep in mind that this is not officially confirmed but the book is extremely close to being released and this page count is more than likely legit. This would make Breaking Dawn the longest book in the series yet!"

I think I've seen it other places too. Anyway, pm me. And let me know if you're doing another TWILIGHT night, and I'll make more time in advance. ^__^

Yeah in a couple interviews i've seen with SM she has said this is the longest book of the four!

Newly TPDer! yay!
