I'm planning on having a Release Party at the Bloomingdale Public Library on Friday, August 2 from 2:30-4:30PM. Honestly, it's more like a pre-party before all the local midnight release parties, so it should help you get in the mood for the late night events. The blurb:

"Celebrate the final chapter in the Twilight saga! Join fellow Twilighters for snacks, trivia, games, and a chance to win free copies of Breaking Dawn. All partygoers will receive a Team Edward, Jacob, Switzerland, or Bella button just for attending! Twilighters are welcome to come in costume as their favorite character. Register at the Reference Desk or by phone at (630) 924-2730. Winners of Breaking Dawn can pick up their copy from the library on Saturday, August 2. Limited to the first 50 registrants going into 7th-12th grades."

I'm leaving the costume/theme open, since it sounds like the midnight release parties are either going with a prom or wedding/engagement theme. Unfortunately, the Breaking Dawn book prizes won't be handed out until the morning of August 2, since the library will definitely be closed at midnight. Sorry! I'm making the buttons myself and they'll be 2 1/2 inches in size. The games will be from suggestions posted on the release party games thread. Some games may have small prizes for winners. Others will be just for fun. Other than that, it's free and open to the first 50 teens (going into 7th-12th grades) who sign up. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Additionally, if you're not in the Bloomingdale area, you might want to check if your own public library is having a party. I know quite a few libraries are planning on having parties within the next month or two.
