Dressing Up?

Post by Bella_Cullen_13 » Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:51 pm

So most of our bookstores are doing a themed party, Who's dressing up & what are you wearing?

My bookstore's theme is an Engagement Party & I am dressing up. Im wearing a simple party dress (knee-length) with flip-flops (like a summer party outfit, casual yet formal)

Finally, lol.

So I'm trying to get ideas to see how many people are going of each character. I'm sure there's going to be lots of little Alice's and Bella's running around, and I want to be unique.

So I voted Angela because as Stephenie says "the humans need some love, too."

Personally I'll be attending one of the Borders Premier Parties, and I want to have the best costume, so we'll have to see!

I dont think a ton of people are going as Bella cause some are doing Wedding related events.

I would be most like Angela, simple.

I'm going as Bella, but she's not up there :(

I might go as Bella, just because I've already got the brown hair and paler-than-average skin down.

But I'm not really sure. I'm thinking of bribing my little sister to sew a costume of some sort for me, but I have no idea what.

Costumes

Post by BroadwayAmanda93 » Wed Jun 25, 2008 2:45 pm

Phew! I'm glad I'm not the only one dressing up for BD! Since I'm blonde I decided I would go as Rosalie, plus I have this red dress I used for a show I did a month ago and it's PERFECT for Rosalie (it's a lot like her prom dress from Twilight). My buddy who introduced me to the series is short with short dark hair and she's going as Alice and we're having some problems thinking of a costume for her. There's no way we could do Alice's prom dress, and we need something that's a signature Alice look. She is spraying her hair black and making it spiky, but hair isn't everything, we need clothes too! Speaking of hair, for Rosalie I was thinking I would just curl mine, but I'm open to any other ideas! Another friend of mine is an ex-Harry Potter fan and is using her black robe for a Volturi costume. Eeek! This is going to be so much fun! And of course I'll be doing this all over again in December! :)

I'm going as Emily. I'll probably just wear a black wig and use makeup to make the scars. Now if only my mom would just lem me die my hair black like I've been begging for months, then I wouldn't need the wig.
"Isabella Swan?" He looked at me through his impossiblibly long lashes, his golden eyes soft, somehow, still scorching. "I promise to love you forever-every single day of forever. Will you marry me?".
There were many things I wanted to say, some of them not nice at all, and others more disgustingly gooey and romantic than he probably dreamed I was capable of. Rather than embarrass my self with either, I whispered, "Yes."

I really don't know how I am going to dress up! It's driving me mad. I wanted to be Bella or Alice, but my skin is too dark for me to pull off the pale thing.

So I was thinking of dressing up as Emily or Leah, but would people even be able to tell I'm in a costume? I mean, without me toting a wolf plushie around. :P

I actually should say I will be dressing up if my mom can stand to let me out of the house that way. Grrr, she doesn't understand fandom at all and is appalled at the idea of my going out in public dressed as a book character for any occassion other than Halloween. :x

That's why I'm going as Emily. Emily has the scars so it will easy to tell you're her rather than Leah.
