okay thanks everyone!
"Before you, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars-points of light and reason...And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything."

LOL. No, cats just don't ever do what you want them to do, or stay where you want them to stay. For example, say you had a box and you were trying to put 5 cats in it. As soon as you got 1 inside, and went for the other, the first one would jump out. The more you'd try to put them in, the more they'd just jump out.

After 10+ years of doing large scale events like Harry Potter and major author booksignings, I've come to learn that you just can't expect a large group of people to all cooperate at the same time. Hence, having a bunch of stations for activities instead of trying to keep the group all together and doing the same thing. It just works out so much better that way.

You won't want to miss Borders From Twilight til Dawn parties! It will be A Night with Bite!
Haha, it's cheesy but yet clever at the same time :D I really enjoyed finding that out. lol

Its at one of the Malls in Houston.

Sarah & I are already shopping for dresses, we're dressing up. We have this big group we're going with & its going to be so much fun. They're supposed to have Vampire Trivia & Prizes & stuff. I hope the dont do really easy stuff, it would be annoying for all these 'fans' to get all the prizes.
OMG! Your so lucky!!! I'm going all by myself!!! The girl who got me started on the books is going to be in another state and all my friends are too stubborn to try to read it (yes they are all a stupid insufficient waste of space for not reading it) :( So its just me and my mom (its kool though, i got my mom to read them all and she loves them). I don't want to wear a prom dress though, but thats the theme. I might wear a homecomming dress and bring jeans and a T-shirt. But NETSPEAK IS SO UNATTRACTIVE PLEASE FIX ME!.

Does anyone know if you pre-order it if they keep it at the store for you???

ALL PRIZES SHALL BE MINE!!! lol jk.
No but i doubt i would see anyone I know, most people at my school who have read twilight are outcast. But i'm actually not. I think it'll just be me and my mom that I no anyways. And I just emailed Barnes and Nobles asking their theme and if i pick up my pre-ordered copy there. And if a MUST wear a dress. So i hope they get back to me...if they don't write me back by...hmmm...lets say Monday...then I'll call them :)

Atlanta B&N Edgewood Release Party Announced!

Post by Bookreader »

My sister and I just got a flyer frm the Atlanta Edgewood Barnes & Noble on Moreland Ave near Little 5 that they're having a breaking dawn release party starting at 10pm Friday nite Aug 1!

it sez prom pictures, raffle, trivia, costume contest, prizes, "come dressed for the prom or as your favorite Twilight Saga character!"

Sounds rockin' esp. near Little 5 Pts!

Yes, but only if you pre-order inside of your store.

If you pre-order on the web, it sends it to your house.

Does anyone have ideas for what/who I should dress up as?

This'd be me. My hair--in the back, at least--falls to my waist, but doesn't usually style well. Anyone have a suggestion?

If the theme is definitely prom, I might just put on a dress and some pale makeup (maybe mixed with sparkles) and call myself a vampire, but dressing up as something specific sounds like more fun.
