New Jersey

Post by jmem17 »

I work at the Barnes and Noble in Springfield, NJ and I was at work today and we just got the all clear for a release party. There are 4 or 5 of us that have read the books and will be planning the party so I want to hear what you guys would like to see happen and we will do our best to bring it to you. Also, tell all of your friends about this we want this to be big.

Mod Edit: Please discuss all New Jersey Parties here.

That's great to hear. I live in New Jersey, and my local bookstore is WAY to small, so most likely they won't be having a release party. I've been searching around for places that could have one, but haven't had that much luck. Maybe, after asking my parents :?, I'd be able to come.

And I wish I could ask my friends, but none of them has read Twilight...let alone picked up a good book. So I'd probably have to end up dragging my mother along, considering she's the only one who actually listens to me when I talk Twilight. :D
My parents won't allow me to sleep with my window open...no matter how many times I told them that it's only for Edward Cullen.

Put Naruto Uzumaki and Harry Potter together and you get N.I.T.W.I.T.s. Get it? Ninja in Training and Wizard in Training!

haha same
i live in the very north east of NJ in a small-ish town
there aren't too many stores
and the closest b&n is in the Palisades mall
i was wondering if u know any good release parties around here
or maybe ill just go to a signing

the difference is that i like to keep Twilight as a secret
because i feel that if i share it i have to let it go and that makes me sad
i only have one friend that has read the book but i am WAY more into it than he is, actually im obsessed with it
but ill listen to u if u want to talk about it!!! haha

We're having a midnight release party at the Clark Barnes and Noble as well. I'm the one who's actually in charge (yay me!) We got an awesome theme: Vampire vs Werewolf vs Switzerland. So come to our party to declare your loyalty!

Anyone know if there is a way to find out online which Borders are having release parties? Or do I actually have to go into the store and ask someone?

Anyone going to the Barnes & Noble in Deptford for the release party?
I'm thinking about going but I'm not sure yet.
I called to ask what exactly their theme would be, but no one could give me a straight answer. :?
