So, I FINALLY got through. The lady chuckled at me and told me they'd /just/ started discussing a possible event. I asked if it would be a midnight release and after being put on hold again she cam back to tell me she wasn't sure and I should try again in a couple of weeks.
But it seems like right now they have a rough idea for some sort of party at 8 PM on the 2nd? Anyways, I'm not even done trying. I'll wait a bit and try back and see what they're thinking...

Hi fellow Massachusetts Lexiconers!
I am thinking about putting together a lunch or dinner in April to meet and get to know some other Twilight fans before all the big exciting things start happening this year (Host, BD, MOVIE) If anyone is interested, please PM me!

So, I just called the events manager at the B&N in Nashua. She's out today but they say I can reach her tomorrow morning at 9. I will call her tomorrow and let you guys know how it went. I really, REALLY, hope she will agree to do a midnight release party. It will stink if I have to wait til I get out of work at 4 PM on August 2nd just to go get the book.

Yay! I hope this will become a reality! *crosses fingers*
What SUCKS is that I'm at college right now and I'm RIGHT near both Nashua and Burlington...
But by the time Eclipse comes out, I'll be back at home in Maine
But I don't care! I'll come down here just to hang out with you awesome people!

Well, I went into the Waldenbooks in the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua the other night. He said they don't think they're going to have anything in that particular store, which I can understand because that waldenbooks is really small. He sounded kind of surprised that I asked him that, so I guess they haven't had any meetings for it.
Hopefully we have more luck with the bigger stores!

Okay, so GUESS WHAT!
Nashua Borders is having a midnight release party!!! I don't think they're telling people 'definitely' yet but I used to work there and asked a manager. Nashua Borders is slower than the Burlington one, so I'd be very surprised if Burlington doesn't end up having one. But if they don't, Nashua is only 15-20 minutes away! I was freaking out in the store, I'm so excited!
I'll post more when I get more details
