There's 2,500 seats in the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium [of Benaroya Hall].

There's room for 2100 at Nokia Theatre. (They don't do seats.)
"What did you do to this?" he asked in a horrorstruck voice.
"It didn't want to come out of the dashboard."
"So you felt the need to torture it?"
"You know how I am with tools. No pain was inflicted intentionally."
He shook his head, his face a mask of faux tragedy. "You killed it."
I shrugged. "Oh, well."

I was wondering that, too. When she came here, it was open seating but each ticket had a number on it that indicated your number in line. The table was set up just in front of the stage and they called the numbers in groups of 50 to line up down one aisle and go past the table and exit up the other aisle. Everyone else sat until they were called. It was all very orderly. We got the "award" on her blog for smoothest running event. lol

With venues of this size and a totally different number system, I'm really not sure how they will do it. Maybe they'll just take each row starting at the front and file them out and into line. I wonder if she will be in front of the stage again or maybe they'll have her set up as everyone exits the building. I hope for the sake of everyone who got tickets that it isn't just a mad rush once the "show" is over. That would be a nightmare. :P

Well this one is different than the one Ive been to, but it should work out like this-

When you get there, get seated, the Blue October concert will be first. They are playling like 3 songs.

After Blue October, Stephenie should come on stage & do a presentation & Q&A.

After the Q&A, they will call rows up, one at a time to line up by the stage to get your book signed.

Thats basically the event.

If you have more questions, check the specific thread for Seattle, or you can PM me. (Im going to Chicago).

The event sounds nice... do you think the whole blue october thing will be like a concert? like everyones cheering? or just like song where everyone shuts up?

Anyways that might be off topic...
but does anyone also know how the Benaroya tiers are set up? orch then 1st then 2nd? or orch then second?

This was posted on the Seattle thread.

http://www.kickintickets.com/benaroya_hall_tickets.html

It looks like a long and narrow building. Orchestra, founder's tier, second tier and then third.
