SarafromDC wrote:So I am a little confused. Over here on the lexicon everyone keeps saying that the Nokia theater has said that Stephenie's event is standing room only. However, over on the twilightmom's webpage they say that they have confirmation from Elizabeth (Stephenie's publicist) that the Nokia theater will have seats set up for first come first serve. I was wondering if anyone knew which one was true?
I had emailed the theater and was told standing only. It's possible that the theater and Stephenie's publicist hadn't worked out the details at the moment and that's why I was told this. I was going to wait another couple of weeks and email them again to get updated answers. I have also heard that the front section would be standing and the back would have seats. It's probably best to wait until closer to the signing to get final confirmation on the seating issue.
SarafromDC wrote:Has anyone received a clear answer on when we are allowed to start forming lines? I would like a seat towards the front and am willing to get there early.
When I emailed the theater, they told me that the New York Police Department allows lines 3 hours prior to the doors opening. That would end up being 3pm.
SarafromDC wrote:Finally, I was wondering how they were going to handle questions. When I saw Stephenie in Portland people came around and passed out cards for us to write our questions on (they did this around 5pm since doors opened at 6). They then collected the cards and Stephenie went through them and chose the questions she wanted to answer. Is that how it is going to work in NY too?
As far as I've seen, this is how it will be done again.
"What did you do to this?" he asked in a horrorstruck voice.
"It didn't want to come out of the dashboard."
"So you felt the need to torture it?"
"You know how I am with tools. No pain was inflicted intentionally."
He shook his head, his face a mask of faux tragedy. "You killed it."
I shrugged. "Oh, well."

questions

Post by iM bEtTiNg On AlIcE ;] »

So we can only submit one question at the signing? I guess that makes sense though because it's such a big venue it would take FOREVER to read them all. Hmm... I'm going to have some trouble choosing which one to submit.

Also, is anyone else going to hang around Times Square before 3 to get a good place in line when we're allowed to line out. I might attract some funny looks all decked out in my Twilight gear alone in Times Square ...

Thanks! haha gotta love Luna!

I hope I see you there!

My sister, our friend and I used an old pair of jeans to make 'Quote Jeans', we wrote our favorite Twilight quotes on them as well as other stuff like 'Team Edward' and 'Lexiconer'. It was so much fun and they look really cool! I can't wait until the first!!!

iM bEtTiNg On AlIcE ;]...i wish i was creative enough to do stuff like that, quotes on jeans and all! I'll probably just do the iron-on TEAM EDWARD on a simple tee. . . . .I'm going with my boyfriend, because i need someone to take me home after the show/heading to get BD at a midnight release.

Yeah, I Just hope that their are other people in Times Square early (before we can line up at 3 PM) because I'm going to look a little bit silly hanging around there with jeans that say "I'm with the vampires ofcourse" and stuff.

I'll look incredibly silly once I apply my pale face makeup and wear my black cloak. Since I shall be cosplaying as a member of the Volturi.

HAHA that is so awesome!! For halloween my sister's short friend was going to be Jane and we were going to be her two body guards (not that Jane needs a guard!) I actually have a black cloak and am going to buy red eye contacts online!!
