Yay!

I can't wait.
Now if my mom would only wake up and buy me my ticket.

I called Changing Hands and found out this:

You MUST PreOrder The Host to get ONE ticket for $5.00.
If you want more than one ticket, then you must PreOrder more than one book.

So, if I want TWO tickets, then I have to PreOrder TWO copies of The Host.

Yay!
I'm going.

But I had a question (if anyone knows the answer):

It says on Stephenie's website "She will only autograph 2 books in the Twilight Saga per customer (except for the Mall of America event where she is only signing The Host)."

Does that mean that I can get TWO copies of The Host signed, and then TWO copies from twilight, or does it mean that I can get ONE copy of The Host signed, and then TWO Other books?

Please let me know if you have the answer to this.
Thanks!

I think the two book thing just means that only two books from the twilight saga will be signed but however many copies of the host you have doesn't factor into that. You can always ask someone at Changing Hands to be sure.

Thanks twilightgurl,

I asked them a while after I posted my question, but forgot all about this.

Changing Hands said that you can get TWO copies of Twilight books, and ONE OR MORE copies of The Host.

Lucky Phoenix girl going to the signing, going to take notes

Post by bloodbound »

I am going to the May 13th signing. If you call Changing Hands, and they are super nice, it is ONE Host book and One Twlight book (Twlight, New Moon, Eclipse). There won't be any signing of t-shirts, posters, fan fiction, etc. (I asked) Also, Alphie, if you want, I can take notes and send them to you so you can post it on Lexicon. I'm probably going to be the oldest person in the crowd (insert comment here :D ) and I take good notes. If anyone has questions that are new and haven't been asked before (and trust me, I know most of the questions/answers since I am on this site about 4 times daily, yes, I have NO life 8) ) let me know through the question post and I will try to ask a good one if I am called. I won't ask her questions on "edward is abusive" or "jacob, I hate him!" or "will Bell be a vampire". May 13th can't come soon enough!

Yes! I'll be in attendance, too! <3 I'm so.... excited!

Oo that's weird... I could've sworn for each participant you're allowed 2-non Host books to be signed and the Host itself.
I pulled out the tickets it says that too. In the "PLEASE NOTE:" section.

I got my ticket and book a while ago. :)

I absolutely cannot wait for May 13th! :D

To be safe, I'd advise not bringing any more than just ONE of the Twilight books for Steph to sign. After seeing the nonsense at a couple of her Eclipse signings, *people bringing almost 10 books EACH* it's a wonder she's even willing to sign non-Host books at all. :P
So, please have some respect for her. Don't bring more than one and then beg her senselessly to sign your books.

Are you sure it is ONE Twilight and ONE copy of The Host?
Because on Stephenie's website it says TWO Twilight books, plus, I emailed them (a while ago), and this is what they said:

March 21, 2008

Nikolas,

Two from the Twilight series "plus one or more copies of the host," is what her staff has told us.

Bob.

Like I said, I'm not entirely certain. I'll ask Liz and get an official answer.

But I'm just trying to stress to people that being polite is really important. I'm glad they're putting a limit on how many books people can bring to get signed. The easier this is on Steph, the better.
She does so much for us, and I was really disappointed with the responses that I saw at the Eclipse signings from her so-called "fans."

(*sighs*)
