Yay!!! :D I FREAKED out at school today when I found this out!! I wish it was at our school instead of KF, but hey same school district, only a 15 minute drive...but getting the tickets on the 6th at 9 am will be the biggest problem. We'll think of something...

So, does anyone know if the tickets will be sold in the actual school building, like maybe in their commons or what?

i have no idea where the tickets will be sold
and bloodlust you're so lucky! the school is close to you, it's about a 40 min drive for me! ><

and i can't skip school cause theres APs ><
i'm wondering if all the students at KF who want to go will have first dibs on the tickets...
i definitely think getting the tickets will be a problem for me

and this might be a dumb question, but i still don't know - if we already purchased the host then do we still have to buy it to get a ticket?...

Not a dumb question. I have a friend in the same predicament. She's already preorderd The Host and she's wondering if she has to buy the book againat KF or just cancel her order to get the tickets and I think the answer is yes...but I'm not sure.

As for the KF kids...*sigh* they will most likely have a better chance of getting the tickets, but the thing is they go on sale at 9. I'm in the same district as KF, and 9 a.m. is smack dab in the middle of second period, so I don't know how that's going to work.

according to the twilightmomsforums, you buy the host at B&N and that starts at 9. then the event takes place at klein forest

[off topic] i knew klein forest hs sounded familiar! my school's basketball team played them in the semifinals

Oooooh. That makes things even more difficult and tickets even harder to get....whoo you know that people will be lined up outside of Barnes & Nobles waiting to get tickets. Oh well.

[off topic]koali_aloalo, your school played KF? lol Did they win?

yea, it'll be hard to get the tickets cause it's on a school day
it'll be easier for older fans to get tickets =(

i'm wondering if i should get my mom to drive all the way there, but i don't want to trouble her >< esp since it's such a long drive

so i'm still debating whether i should buy tickets or not, i guess i need more info - like how many tickets will be available, if it's only that B&N that's selling tickets, if we absolutely have to buy a copy of the host (i mean, i already pre-ordered it, isn't that even better? haha) but i guess i'll ask later since they might not have the full info yet

[off-topic] yup, we won by 5 points =) but we lost to North Crowley in state finals (we're #30 on top 50 basketball teams in the US =D and north crowley is #3...so it kind of makes sense that we lost to them)

Ahh it sucks she's not coming to Florida. I was hoping she'd add us in the list somewhere!
But oh well I'm hoping you guys give us every little detail about meeting with her! :D

I have a feeling that people all over the southern regions, close to Texas, will try to make it to this Houston location. That only makes things muuuuuuuch more difficult. My friends and I are still trying to figure things out. It's like a competition!
